It was ticking me off. It was ticking me off for sure. Yi's foot tapping, pen tapping, impatient act. These all were ticking me off. His constant glances at my way was the most horrible one. We were in class and the teacher was taking chemistry, my favourite subject of all, yet i couldn't concentrate.

What?! i mouthed, glaring at him. His lips moved alot so did his hands but i couldn't figure out what he was trying to say. Then my eyes fell on an envelope. It had a heart sticker on top. Oh, damn. Are you finally asking him out?

Not me! Someone else! finally i could understand what he said.

Are you an idiot? Why did you take it? i looked at him in confusion.

I don't know! I'm an idiot! he held his head in frustration. Help me! HELP ME GIVE IT TO HIM!

Why me? Don't drag me into this. And i can't even if i wanted to. I have to be in the student council meeting i shook my head.

Don't say that! What would i do then?! his eyes were trembling.

What else? Just give it to him. The rest depends on him i looked at him with a serious look. That caused his tapping, trembling to go away.

You're.. right. It does he then held his head down. I sighed seeing his pathetic sight. Geez, Yi.

It wasn't long until the bell rang. As soon as the teacher went, Yi and I got up from our desk in unision. This caused Xi to look at us in confusion. Don't bring me into this, dumbhead!

"Take it. It's from the girl next class" Yi said holding the envelope out to him. Xi eyed us both.

"This kind of thing is so annoying.." Xi said and then moved his face away from us.

"Hey hey~ someone put their heart into it. Aren't you even going to take a look?" Yi said keeping the envelope on top of Xi's table.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Xi called back to Yi

"Bathroom" Yi waved his hand before going away. I then grabbed onto my bag and stood up. "You too?"

"No. Student council meeting" i ruffled his hair and gave him a smile before walking out of the class. Yi.. i looked around for him but didn't find him anywhere. Sighing, i went towards the stairs to go to the upper floor. There, i saw him and He Tian together. I didn't want to interrupt them so i walked the other way. My heart tightened as i felt bad for Yi and then only wished for his happiness.

After school

"Over here! Pass! Pass!" the boys were playing basketball and i was watching it along with Xi. I think he was about to go to the game before i walked towards their bench. I guess upon seeing me, he passed it to someone else.

"Hey" Xi said wiping his sweat.

"Yo" i smiled before looking back at the game.

"Do you notice something strange with Yi?" hearing Xi's words, i almost choked on my saliva.

"No, why you say that?" i asked completely faking my confusion.

"I don't know. I just feel like he's trying too hard.." he held his face down.

"Hmm? Trying too hard? At what?" i asked.

"I know you know something but you aren't saying anything" he narrowed his eyes at me.

"All i know is that you guys are my buddies" i smiled at him again before looking back at the match. "There's our champion" i grinned seeing Yi. He saw me and then opened his arms wide as he walked towards me. Oh hell no. I hurriedly hide behind Xi.

"It's your turn! Go beat them~" Yi high fived with Xi.

"Leave it to me" Xi said before walking towards the team. But before he went, he put his tshirt on Yi's head. This caused Yi to stand still in front of me. I looked at him and gave him a strained smile.

"This guy's clothes are always soaked.. this smell of sweat.. " Yi said bringing the tshirt towards his mouth. I could see Yi blushing but also his eyes were watering. Oh honey.. i put my hand on his arm and squeezed it. I think he understood what i meant. We never had to 'talk' to let each other know about our feelings. As soon as i let go of his arm, i was engulfed in a hug.

"Yi, you bastard! You're fucking sweating like a pig! Move aw-" i stopped talking as soon as i felt his body shivering. Oh God.. i moved my hand away from his chest and then patted his back. "There, there. It's gonna be alright" i said. He didn't say anything but instead his grip on me tightened. I didn't care what people thought. Yi's my childhood friend and now he needed my help so i did. I looked back at the match and saw He Tian's gaze on us, on me specifically. Blush started to creep onto my cheeks and before i could become fully embarrassed, i looked away from him. Dammit, He Tian.
