I took a deep breath and crawled out of the bushes with Ember, Ben, and Connor. We stealthily moved towards the entrance, and snuck in. I gasped. There, in the main entrance room, were hundreds of skeletons lying about-most looked as if they were burned to death, given the faint traces of smoke and ashes everywhere. I heard a small crinkle and whipped my head around.

"COOL!" Connor said.

"Connor.... what are you doing?" Ember asked dubiously.

"Look at these SPRINKLES!!"

"Connor... those aren't sprinkles..." Ben said, in a fearful voice.

"Yeah they are!"

"No... they look to be..." Ben said.

"Ground up bones," I said.

"By the look of it, they seem to be human bones!!" Ember exclaimed. "Connor spit that out those are the bones of the Bengùelàs' victims!"

Connor immediately did, and Ember rushed over to him.

"Did you swallow any? Are you feeling ok? CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!"

"Ember it's ok, I'm fine."

"THEN WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!" Ember shouted, shaking his shoulders.

"Ember," I said, calmly trying to loosen her grip on Connor. "Maybe now might not be the best time-"

The door flew open and 4 guards ran in.

"HEY! WHAT YOU WANT?!" They yelled in broken English.

"Ben...?!" I urgently whispered.

"I got this, Cam." He replied.

"¡Ah, hola, mi amigos! We were just coming to find you!"

"Find us?" They inquired, suspicious.

"Sí. We needed directions to speak with the amazing, most beautiful woman we ever laid eyes on."

I choked back a scoff, because I then realized what he was doing.

All the guards softened a bit and became sympathetic to our uncomfortableness.

"Yes, we will take you to Amàya, or you can take a personal tour of the castle yourself."

"Ah, gracias, mi amigos. I am in your debt."

"Buenas tardes, Señores, Señoritas."

"Buenas tardes."

The guards walked briskly away to tend to a problem in a different wing, I assume. Thankfully, Ben's persuasive conversation (from the brief Spanish lessons Sam and Bryn gave us before we left) also loosened Ember's grip on Connor. After she turned away, he massaged his shoulders, but smiled after Ember. We began to walk forward, and Ben put his hand on the small of my back. I blushed, and leaned my head on his shoulder. Ember and Connor walked side by side, stealing glances at each other. Ben smirked and then pushed the door open. We walked into another room and saw many statues and portraits of Amàya and Omõro, some formal, but most bloody battles and lava flows. Ember instinctively moved toward Connor, and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. We walked for a few minutes, through rooms of torture devices, giant TVs with crime channels showing, and a room with nothing but a dried, bloody knife with a plaque saying "My own mother shut me out...". We all immediately knew this wasn't a game of cat and mouse anymore. Amàya had serious business, and she wasn't going to stop until she was captured-and she wasn't going to let that happen. I texted the group what we saw, where our coordinates are, and a digital map of the whole castle (while we were on our "personal tour", we digitally mapped the whole castle, so we knew every nook and cranny. Then, we found our station in the huge chandeliers in the unoccupied throne room. I then texted Bryn and Noel that the Reptile and Bird pair were a go.
