I looked at Jacob during my phone call with Bryn. Usually Bryn was calm during these types of things, but for some reason this case is different. I was to catch the next flight to the Florida keys. Normally, from Nigeria, that would've taken a hot minute to get there. Thankfully, I was blessed with the ability to teleport. Jacob looked at me and back at the goat we were helping. It had gotten in a bit of a pickle with the natives for stealing sheep food. It really seemed stupid why we were here, but this was just our cover assignment. We were actually developing a super secret spy weapon designed to throw a virtual net around the person and create some kind of prison that disables their abilities while inside. Of course it doesn't hurt the person trapped; I was planning to use it on Bryn whenever she teases me about Jacob. Jacob's my assigned FBI partner. We are 1 of the 5 pairs in the Animalia Group. Each pair has powers based off their animal sub-group. Yes, everyone has a few random ones in their DNA, like Ember being able to snap her fingers and change anything in the blink of an eye, Bryn being able to flip her hair to stop time, Andie being able to control lightning and thunder (case in point, don't get on her bad side), Camryn being able to move things with her mind, and me being able to teleport. Each person is assigned a partner that has similar abilities and that has potential to work great together. For example, my pair consists of Jacob and me, and we are known as the Amphibians. I know. It sounded awful to me at first, but that means a lot of cool abilities for us, such as being able to turn into a poisonous frog to a great camoflauger at will. We are all discovering new abilities often-sometimes we have to earn them. Anyway, one of the coolest things is that my spirit animal for the FBI branch we work on is the Strawberry Poison Frog-that's why my nickname is usually Berry. Jacob's is the Blue Poison Frog, and is usually referred to as Azul or something. If we finish enough missions, we can both unlock the powers of the Golden Poison Frog-it's skin is so toxic, just one two-inch frog has enough poison to kill 10-20 adult men. Let me explain something though. Depending on our sub-category (let's use Ember for example), she's in the bird group, so she can turn into any bird rank she has unlocked. For example, when she first got into the FBI branch (at 9) she could only turn into a chicken. The next step up is a pigeon, then a duck, then a goose, and so on. She just moved from the Red and Green Macaw (the highest ranking Parrot) to the Costa's Hummingbird. Therefore, she can turn into anything from a chicken to a Costa Hummingbird. Does that make sense? But her spirit animal is only one of those--the Snowy Owl. Even though that is a top rank, and she's only a few missions away from that, she can use its powers because it's her spirit animal. That means that I'm only on the Emerald Glass Frog rank (only a few from the top), but I can unlock a higher rank (the Strawberry Poison Dart Frog) because it's my spirit animal. (I'll explain the other's' spirit animals later. Or they'll do it. Whichever comes first.)

So, I blinked my eyes 3 times and leapt into the air and instantly my body sparkled and disappeared. I had developed red violet skin and webbed feet. I had become around 0.95 inches long, and pretty fabulous, if I do say so myself. I looked up expectantly at Jacob and he smiled and did the same thing I did, but turned into a deep blue, almost Indigo frog-obviously the Blue Poison Frog. We hatched onto a leaf and teleported from the Nigerian underground laboratory to the secret house. We startled everyone, for they were making small talk and just being awkward until we busted through the wall, all supercool. To them, we just looked like frogs sailing in on a leaf, but we felt like we were on a roller coaster. We sparkled again, and turned into humans. Slight problem-we forgot to change out of our lab gear before we left, so we looked hopelessly at Ember, and she snapped her fingers in our direction, changing our outfits. Jacob's was a nice, cozy soccer shirt, and he had sweats and socks on. I had on a lavender colored shirt and jeans with fuzzy socks. We both said thanks to Ember and then Jacob sat down and I sat next to him. When Andie and Drew explained how Amàya has slowly been taking Mauna Loa's lava and using it to build her empire and torture the unlucky citizens trapped there, Jacob absentmindedly wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I blushed a bit, because he was always nice and caring to me. I mean sure, around everyone else he's carefree, but when it comes down to the two of us he's always looking out for me. The worst part is that I think I might be developing a small crush on him! His handsome red-orange hair, enchanting green eyes, and sweet personality always made me blush. Anyway, we had a week until we could actually put the plan into action. What's our resort? Extreme truth or dare. Everyone loves and hates playing it. Mostly because everyone loves mischievously giving others questions. But then they hate getting questions/dares because it's revenge time then. Oh would you look at that-it's Drew's turn. Wish him luck! (Don't actually wish him luck-he deserves it after what happened with Jacob and I-hehehehehehe)
