I appeared at Kings Cross Station in a fire place that looked like it was in someone's office. I hurried from the room before anyone saw me and pushed my cart toward Platform 9, where I was to meet my mom. All I was thinking about the whole time I was racing to Platform 9 was Ron.
Was that really him I saw through that window? Or was that just my imagination? Did he follow me through all of those shops? That's pretty creepy... Or am I simply going mad?
"Sweetie!" I heard a very familiar voice call. I turned around and saw my mother, standing at platform 9. If she hadn't seen me and called to me, I would have kept going right on past.
"Did you find everything you need?" She said, shocked, looking at my loaded cart.
"Yes! And-" I stopped. Should I tell her about Ron, the wand? Or did I even have time? I decided to keep my lips sealed until I had more time, covering, "And did you get my luggage and Alex?"
"Of course!" She said, putting three suitcases and a big cage, containing a my large barn owl, on top of the stuff in my cart precariously. "Here! I brought a trunk to put all of the stuff you bought in!" She rolled a large trunk up next to me, muttered a spell under her breath, and all of me stuff, besides the owl, were neatly organized into the large rolling trunk that was enchanted to be bigger on the inside.
"Thanks, that will make life easier!" I smiled, stroking Alex through the cage I was now holding. I looked around. "So, where is the Hogwarts Express?" My mom stood there, looking at me, blankly
"I thought you knew!" Neither of us knew where the train was and we had about 5 minutes to find it! I was, suddenly, distracted by a small explosion and a strong smell a little ways in front of us. Two familiar gingers came running out of the cloud of stink. They both were still wearing their wacky suits and ties. They seemed immensely proud of themselves as ran up to us.
"We thought you'd need help finding the train!" they said, together, checking all around.
"Yeah, but how-" I started before one of them grabbed my wrist, the other my trunk. They ran toward the plain brick wall and I, struggling to break free, gave a little yelp as we came in contact with the wall, or at least I thought the wall. I opened my eyes, that I didn't know I had closed, and saw a massive, magnificent black train with the words 'HOGWARTS EXPRESS' painted across the side in large red letters. My mom followed us in.
"Thank you two, SO much! I thought my daughter was going to miss the train!" My mom explained, quickly. The train let out a very loud train engine horn and a puff of smoke came out of the front of the train.
"Bye sweetie," My mom said quickly, kissing my cheek. I looked and the twins were gone.
"Don't forget to write!!" She shouted after me as the conductor hurried me on the train. Once I got my stuff onto the train, ig began to move.
"Better find a compartment," The conductor suggested, and I headed off, struggling with my case, down the very long hall to find a place to stay for the trip.
