Lupin burst through the main doors at speeds faster than I could keep up with. I had never seen such agility in an older man. Maybe it had something to do with the werewolf part, I don't know.
Maybe I'm just slow.
We were running on our way to the hospital wing, getting strange looks from students, until Lupin turned a corner and ran straight into a bearded man in a robe.
"Well hello, Lupin. I haven't seen you in ages!"
"Dumbledore," Lupin huffed as he was crouched over with his hands on his knees, "I'm so sorry, but I really don't have time to talk. I promise I'll visit you before I leave," Then Lupin was off again, this time walking at a quick pace towards the staircase. I began to follow, but Dumbledore out his hand on my shoulder, asking
"Where are you two off to in such a hurry?"
"Hospital... wing..." I was still out of breath from the run, "Brooke..."
"Yes, I know of her current state from the match. She was hurt, so you called Lupin. That was very noble of you. I'm sure she would love to see him at this time of need." He smiled at me and nodded, as I looked at him with a confused look on my face. Had Brooke talked to Dumbledore about this? No, it must have been Lupin telling Dumbledore. That makes a lot more sense. I nodded to him and ran after Lupin, trying desperately to catch up.
