"You can do this Brianna." Brianna said as she stared at her phone seeing the over the phone therapist contact.

"Just call them." She told herself.

Brianna looked around her room seeing Bryson sleep on her bed and got up going into her bathroom sighing.

She looked at herself in the mirror then back at her phone.

Tamari had suggested for them to get therapy before they got back into a relationship and that's exactly what she was doing.

Not only for the relationship but she had a lot of built up problems she needed to express.

She hovered her finger over the call button and folded her lips.

"Fuck it." She said hitting the button then putting the phone on speaker hearing it ring.

After a few rings the phone was picked up.

"Janet Speaking." The person answered.

"Hello This is Brianna Simmons I called last week regarding a session for today." Brianna explained.

"Okay let's see here give me one second maam." Janet said looking over her calendar then running into Brianna name and checking it off.

"Okay hello Brianna how are you today?" She asked.

"I'm fine never better." Brianna said.

"Well that's good to hear." Janet started off.

"So what made you want to join a therapy class?" Janet asked and Brianna sighed sitting on the rim of her tub.

"I honestly need it. I have a lot that I deal with mentally and I try to hide it but I want to face my problems head on now." Brianna said.

"Like what? What do you battle deeply? What problems are driving you to therapy?" The therapist rephrased Brianna statement.

"When I was in middle school I lost my father, I'm a young mom, I'm in love but don't know how to trust the person, and I have a toxic mother." Brianna said.

"How do you manage with these problems?" She asked.

"I mainly hide them." Brianna said.

"How?" Janet asked.

"Well with my father I know this might sound ridiculous but the love I got from him I look for it in boys, it took me a while to notice that but I do and I want to stop." Brianna started.

"How did you lose your father again?" The therapist asked as she wrote.

"I actually lost him from cancer ." Brianna said thinking about her dad.

She missed him so much and everyday she seen him in Bryson.

"So to cope with the lost of your father you started turning to other things like boys? Am I correct?" The therapist asked.

"Yes." Brianna said.

"How did that turn out for you?" She asked Brianna.

"Alot of heartache. My child's father was actually the first boy I filled that void with." Brianna said.

"Are you guys currently still together?" She asked.

"No."

"Why not?" Janet asked.
