Tamari pov:
I stood in the kitchen sweeping the floor until I heard the door bell ring.
I opened my front door seeing my mom standing there.
"Mom what you doing here?" I asked her as she stepped in looking around.
"I can't come see my son?" She asked me walking to my kitchen.
She sat in a stool and sat her purse in front of her.
"I mean it was unexpected." I told her picking the broom back up.
"I was on this side of town so I said why not but what you been up to son?" She asked me.
I looked at her and sighed.
"Nothing much, me and Brianna broke up." I told her and she raised her eyebrows.
"Already? It's been like a month." She told me.
"Yea." I told her.
"So what happen?" She asked me as I put my broom back in its spot.
I looked at her and started twisting my hair nervously.
"I had cheated on her." I said and she shook her head at me.
"Why Tamari? You brag about Brianna all the time and then you go and cheat on her?" She asked me confused.
"It was just in the moment it's not something I intended on doing." I told her and she turned her nose up at me.
"How did she find out?" My mom asked me.
"I told her it didn't feel right not to and she started cussing me out then kicked me out her house." I told her and she took a long pause.
"Tamari if you really love Brianna you would leave her alone until you mature, she deserves somebody who's gonna put her first and stay loyal to her."
"If you want to be with her you would fix things." My mom said.
"I do love her and I want to be with her." I said as my mom stood up grabbing her purse.
"Well act like it." She said walking towards the door.
"We having a pool party for Tyler's birthday so make sure you be there it starts at 4." She told me.
"His birthday is a month away." I said and she looked at me.
"I know but I gotta tell y'all early because y'all love being late, and make sure treasure comes too I know she mad at me but that's no excuse for her not seeing her brother." She said opening the door coming face to face with Brianna.
My mom frowned then looked at me.
"Hey Mrs. White." Brianna said to my mom.
"Hey baby what you doing here?" My mom asked her.
"Just came to speak to Tamari." She told me mom.
"Well okay Tamari I'll see you later I love you son." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek then leaving.
"You gone let me in?" Brianna asked me and I moved out the way.
"What you doing here?" I asked her as i walked upstairs.
"I came to talk to you." She said following me.
I went into my room and sat on the edge of my bed and she stood a couple feet in front of me.
"If you here to cuss me out I already said I'm sorry." I told her.
"I'm not here to cuss you out I'm here to forgive you." She said taking me back.
"What you mean forgive me?" I asked her carefully.
This some type of set up.
"I understand you have needs Tamari and I do too but I would never go out here and cheat on you." She started off.
"But I know you said you been under a lot of stress and thanks to nijah I can see where you was coming from." She said to me and I stood up going to feel her forehead.
"You feeling okay?" I asked her.
"Yes I'm feeling okay, but Tamari I'm not ready to be having sex right now and me forgiving you for this does not mean you can be out here cheating there's other ways for you to handle your sexual pleasure without cheating on me." She told me.
"I feel like this a set up because why you forgiving me so easily?" I asked her.
"Just be happy I'm able to move pass this because if anything happen like this again right hand on the Bible and on my fathers grave I won't forgive you." She told me.
I nodded my head then pulled her into a hug and tried to kiss her but she put her hand in front of my face.
"We not back to that level yet." She told me and I smacked my lips.
"What you had to tell me the other day?" I asked her and she looked at me nervously.
I felt my phone vibrate and seen a call from trey.
I looked up at Brianna then picked up the phone. Everytime we tried to talk our phones interrupted us.
"Hello." I answered.
"We have a meeting with those mafia dudes in two days at dads club come prepared their talking about another million dollar bid this is the biggest meeting we had yet." He told me.
"They bringing they wives again?" I said looking at Brianna who was all on my dresser playing with my watches.
"Yeah so bring Brianna if she take you back." He chuckled then hung up.
"Yeah ima be laughing when alysa leave that ass." I said throwing my phone back on the bed.
Brianna turned around and looked at me as I stared her up and down.
I was the luckiest nigga alive right now.
I couldn't afford to mess up again.
