LILLIAN WAS BESIDE HANNAH AND HERMIONE as Sirius and Harry helped Ron as his ankle was damaged by Sirius. Lillian knew after this she would need to check on Thor in her carpetbag, after all moving and mishaps she hoped he was alright. Remus had his wand pointed at Peter and was in the back of the group.
"Sorry about the bite." Sirius told Ron. "I reckon that twinges a bit."
"A bit?" Ron exclaimed. "You almost tore my leg off!"
"Now I was going for the rat." Sirius reasoned. "Normally, I have a very sweet deposition as a dog."
Lillian turned around and smiled at Sirius, knowing her days reading to him and feeding him.
"I should know, snuffles." Lillian joked and Sirius could hear Remus laugh.
"Very funny, carrot top." Sirius said and Lillian stuck her tongue out. "Funny, that's what I use to call your mother, she hexed me."
"I believe it." Lillian laughed and Sirius smiled at her.
After them talking, all of them went out the exit of the whomping willow and Harry and Sirius put Ron down on the root. Hermione and Hannah sat beside Ron and Lillian placed her carpet bag down. Sirius went toward the castle and Harry and Lillian followed Sirius.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Sirius told them. "I'll never forget the first time I walked through those doors. It'll be nice to do it again as a free man."
"After everything you've been through you deserve it." Lillian said and Sirius looked at her with a proud smile.
"That was a noble thing you did back there." He told her. "You have such a big heart, so like your mother. You as well Harry, he doesn't deserve mercy."
"Well I just didn't think my dad would have wanted his two best friends to become killers." Harry said. "I know Lillian feels the same, her feelings are never wrong when it comes to a good person."
"Not only that, but the truth would have died with him." Lillian said. "With him alive, you're free."
They soon heard Peter try to plea as Remus dragged Peter out of the whomping willow. Hannah and Hermione sat beside Ron as Peter gripped onto him.
"Ron haven't I been a good friend, a good pet?" He pleaded. "You won't let them give me to the dementors, will you? I was your rat!"
Remus dragged him away from them and Peter fell on the floor.
"I don't know if you both know this." Sirius told them. "But when you were both born James and Lily made Remus and I your godfathers."
"We know." Harry said.
"I can understand if you both choose to stay with your aunt and uncle." Sirius said.
"I don't live with them." Lillian said and Sirius looked at her in confusion. "I was taken in by a foster mother, it's a long story. A story that I will have to tell. I'll be living with Remus soon."
