IT HAD BEEN A COUPLE OF WEEKS since Lillian had gotten her supplies and on September 1st it was the day she would be attending Hogwarts. Just as Lillian predicted all the books she bought at Diagon Alley she already read and she had all the information for first year.
As for her two friends she met at the pet store, the three of them had grown quite fond of one another. Jewel would still snatch a shiny object from here and there but Lillian found that if Jewel wouldn't give it back then she could tickle the Niffler and causing her to release the objects she stole.
She actually learned that from a book that was written by a famous wizard named Newt Scamander who knew everything on creatures. His book was her favorite out of the bunch and had read it three times already.
Newt would usually hide in Lillian's pocket if she had one on her shirt or just hide on her shoulder, but most of the time he did it cause he felt comforted and protected with Lillian. It also seemed as if Newt loved reading because when Lillian would read he would sit on her shoulder and occasionally hear her read. Contented and sleepy after hearing her voice and gradually falling asleep after her reading session.
It was only 6:30 in the morning and Lillian was ready as she had her bag all together and checked if all of her essentials were there. Miss Peregrine was up and preparing for Lillian to leave, she was sad but proud that a child from her loop had become everything she hoped for, caring for her as if she was her own daughter with the rest of her children.
All the children in the house were sad as well to see their youngest sister leave to go to school but promised to write to her every day.
As the two waited for Professor McGonagall to take Lillian to the train station Miss Peregrine hugged Lillian.
"I'm so proud of you my dear, send us letters and do have fun, we'll all miss you." She told her. "Remember to be careful."
They both saw Professor McGonagall appear and came closer to the two and with teary eyes Lillian gave her guardian one last hug and watched as Miss Peregrine went back to the loop. Lillian held Jewel and told her she could play with a coin that she had given her the first time they met.
"You ready dear?" The professor asked.
She nodded and took the professor's hand and aparated to the train station. Just like before she felt sick as she felt her body teleport and as she finally felt better she looked around at her surroundings. Lillian looked around and saw tons of children boarding the train and saying goodbye to their families.
Lillian held her bag close to her as Jewel moved from her chest to her shoulder. Lillian looked through her bag and made sure she had stuff for the train and grabbed her creatures book. Lillian looked up at professor McGonagall.
"I've already taken your things to Hogwarts for you since I can see that you might have difficulties retrieving those things yourself." She told Lillian, and Lillian nodded understanding.
