AS THE MONTH WENT BY Lillian had excelled in her classes, she was very clever as seen through the teachers. She was just as intelligent as Hermione and both of them were the star pupils of the first years.
She was also growing closer to her brother as they both bonded and talked over the past few weeks. Feeling as if they had known each other their whole life, and making sure to stick together.
Even in her Hufflepuff house, many of students agreed that Lillian had one of the biggest hearts in the house. Cedric and Hannah could see how she didn't care which house you were in and nevertheless still helped people, whether it be homework, getting to class, or making sure they were okay. It was already a huge thing that the Potters were at Hogwarts but it was already spreading like wildfire about how Lillian Potter was popular.
Lillian had also gotten tons of mail from her loop and more dolls made by Enoch, A flower from Emma, and a couple more items. She missed them dearly but she always had her friends in Hogwarts to cheer her up, especially Fred.
Ever since she tried to help prank the Slytherins that night her and Fred had actually started to talk a lot whether it be in the halls on the way to class, or when he would walk her back from Gryffindor, or even in the library which was the last place Fredrick Weasley would ever be in Hogwarts. It was clear that red headed boy had a crush on her and each time they hang out that familiar feeling hit his chest.
It was Halloween and everyone excited, especially Lillian since it was her favorite holiday besides Christmas. This was her first real Halloween out of the loop and was excited for Hogwarts to celebrate, usually she would play games or read scary stories, but she never did the traditional things such as trick or treat or eating candle apples. She heard from Fred that it was a huge celebrations and the Halloween feast was a big deal.
Today she was taking Charms with the Gryffindors and she was sitting next to Harry while Hermione sat next to Ron. Professor Flitwick began his lecture and everyone grew silent.
"One of wizard's greatest skills is levitation, or the ability to make objects fly. Do you have your feathers?" He asked as he looked around and saw that each had their own feather and continued. "Now don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing. Thus swish and flick, everyone!"
All the students grabbed their wands and repeated after the Professor and mimicking his moves.
"Annunciate Wingardium Leviosa, off you go then." He exclaimed happily.
Everyone began to work trying to see if their feathers would fly as the Professor told them. Lillian grabbed her wand and looked at the feather and repeated the words told to her.
"Wingardium Leviosa." Lillian said, when doing so Lillian's feather flew into the air. Everyone looked at her feather in awe while Professor Flitwick smiled at the girl.
"Well done Miss Potter five points to Hufflepuff."
Lillian smiled and soon everyone tried to mimic Lillian's action. Many tried to lift the feather and some didn't even budge and others were close, Ron was having the most trouble and when seeing that Hermione looked over to him and rolled her eyes.
