Changes within (Falace)

*The First Meeting*

The sun dawned upon the town, the constant sounds of laughter began, August was a time of fun activities, as summer break neared its end parents began making the most out of the holidays.

The weather had predicted a warm day, warm weather meant only one thing in the Jones household.

"PICNIC, PICNIC"Lily beamed jumping on the floor, bounding with excitement, Fp was a different man with his children, any iciness dispersed as his main focus became them. He stood at the kitchen counter messy bed hair with a pair of thin shorts, pouring the milk into Lily's coco snaps. "Yes lils, we are going to the park for a picnic, now eat up"he smiled placing her bowl down. He cut a small banana into pieces with apples placing them into a small pink bowl for Sofia.

"Lil i need a shower okay, shes all strapped in so she can't get out, don't leave her please and if you need be just shout"He placed a kiss to her head as she nodded "Yes daddy"Her smile beaming, "y..e dadda"Sofia babbled causing him to chuckle.

Within 15 minutes he was washed, showered and in fresh clothes to start his day, On his way down stairs he collected clothes for Lily and for Sofia, similar in design. 

"Good girl"He kissed Lily's head finding her at the table stroking Maple, their ginger cats head. "White flowery dress with under shorts and jelly shoes"He questioned holding the outfit to which she loved, taking it from his hand bounding to her room. 

"Come on little princess"He lifted Sofia from her chair laying her on the floor, he wiped her down with a wet wipe, changed her into a fresh nappy before changing her clothes into a light weight vest and floral dress. She too wore small jelly shoes as she could walk a little. 

Once both girl were ready they sat and watched tv, waiting for Fp to make their picnic food, it consisted of ham sandwiches, cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, crisps, fresh fruit, a small treat and fruit drinks. He packed the changing bag, grabbed all he could and packed his car.

Before leaving to his car with the girls Fp smothered them both in sun screen packing extras too.

"Hot dog"Lily giggled as the 3 year old grey and black old english sheep dog lagged behind. "Come on bud"Fp lifted him into the front seat, strapping his harness in. He ensured Lily was strapped in all tight and then strapped in Sofia. 

"Lets go"He smiled. the day was bright. 

Alice's hair bounced as she embraced her new life in her new home. It was all so fresh. Her house was all she ever dreamed of, Her bedroom was beautiful, greys and whites. Her morning had been pretty relaxed, she collected the 8 month old dog, it was instant love. Her fur was a beautiful pure white, with a brown tipped tale, her eyes bright and blue like Alice's'. Bruno had fallen in love with her in seconds. Alice had already bought her bowls and walking accessories such as her harness and a lead which had one long bit which then divided into 2, making walks easier. 

Oreo had spent his time relaxing on the new cat tree, he was pampered with everything he needed. "Oreo i will be back soon"Alice booped his nose grabbing the blue and purple harnesses as she did so, both dogs obeyed quickly stepping into the harnesses and allowing her to attach the lead. 

"Shit" Alice mumbled realising she had no idea where to go, using google maps she found a park near by, there was a park and lake with a forest near by Skylar, much like Bruno was fully trained and had excellent re call. Removing the lead Alice escorted the dogs to her car, strapping them in via the harness. She left plenty of food for Oreo as she locked up the house.

The drive was simple, nothing to hard to follow, her hair freely blowing in the small breeze, the route was pretty simple. For the first part of her journey she kept the dogs on there leash tightly.Being new to the area she was in the dark, knew nothing or nobody. 

Further in she decided for the first few walks she'd keep both dogs leashed, for their own safety. 

"Hot dogggggggg"Lily laughed as the dog ran freely down the pavement, too far for Fp to catch up with. "Go on dear, go get him i will look after little one"Rose, Fp's mum smiled. 

"Thanks ma"He rolled his eyes jogging down the path.

Bruno's eyes locked on and excitement beamed, as hot dog neared he began to pull "Bruno, Bruno!"Alice spoke loudly trying to alert him, he didn't listen and with one tug he had yanked the lead from Alice's dainty hand and with his force she had been sent flying. Fp watched the scene unfold his pace quickened as Lily stopped for a second. "Uh oh dogs in trouble skrtttttttttt"The 5 year old ran as fast as she could to Alice, Fp reaching soon after.

"Daddy hot dog hurt the pretty lady"Lily pouted looking at Alice. "Honestly its fine, Bruno is a pain he loved other dogs, i am sorry you seem out of breath"Fp eyes travelled across her body quickly. "Kids, the dog. I am sorry he is normally good but little one got him all excited"FP laughed.

"I'm Alice"She introduced with a teethy smile. He grinned holding his hand out to help her. "I'm Fp and are you new i don't recognise you"He clapped his hand which bought hot dog back. "Bruno, now"Alice laughed, stopping for a second. "Shit"She moaned 

"Problem"He looked her up and down again. "My other dog Skylar is gone, Bruno must have snapped the lead"She sighed. "Bruno sit"She warned. "Sky, Skylar"She called, moments later the white husky bounded over. "Silly girl"Alice muttered reattaching the lead, luckily the clasp had only released. 

"Beautiful doggy"Lily sat on the floor, the dogs fur inbetween her fingers, Rose had taken a seat, watching the scene un fold. 

"Your knee, I am so sorry"Fp reffered to the open cut on her knee, she shrugged. "Only a graze, it'll be okay. and to answer your question yes, i am.  I moved here yesterday"He nodded

"I'd recognise a face like yours"His voice was deep and husky. A blush flushed her cheeks. Bruno began barking loudly, his teeth began to show as he snarled. "Bruno"She warned, she knew the problem, a man in a black hood had walked past.

"He's good, just the hoodie scared him"Alice kissed her dogs head stroking him gently. "Thank you for helping me up"Alice looked down in a fluster. "Your knee looks sore, could i walk you anywhere, home, car?"He questioned. She shook her head. "No no need but thank you ever so much"His browns furrowed, car park is 10 minutes away, i am assuming you drove"He questioned, her act gave in and she smiled lightly. "Okayyyyy"

Fp nodded to her, Lil go with hot dog to Granny"He smiled, she nodded ran and clapped, perching herself on the bench. 

"May i"He gestured to the lead, Alice handed the lead over as they turned to walk to the car.

The walk almost silent. They soon reached the car park, Fp had no idea what car was hers until he heard it unlock behind him. A white convertible range rover. "Nice wheels"Alice laughed.Fp put them in the back for her. As he turned and closed the door he heard her gasp slipping on a small twig. He rushed to her side, his arm around her waist. 

"Careful there clumsy"His icy exterior was non existent to her. she saw a loving kind father. "You are a diamond Fp"Her blue eyes looked up into his dark orbs as she smiled. "Hopefully see you again"Alice smiled he nodded. "Your daughter is beautiful by the way"Alice added pulling her window down. "Thank you"He nodded again before jogging off back.

"What was that about"Rose spoke lightly 

"I caused it ma i had to help"He rolled his eyes slightly

"She was very pretty boy"Rose teased

"She probably has a boyfriend and a huge house, plus i was helping her"He took the buggy back and continued to be teased the whole journey. 

Alice on the other hand headed home, blushing. He was kind and handsome. A friendly face. She spent the rest of her day pottering around, she made one trip and that was to the market to do a big food shop. 

She spent her evening perched on her sofa, Oreo in her lap and dog on each side.
