Changes within (Falace)

That night he had the best sleep he had ever had.She stayed in the same position for the majority of the night,snuggled into his chest. He held her close, it was a feeling he hadn't felt before. 

The sun peeped through the small gap between his curtain, the light beaming onto Alice's exposed leg. Her bruising more evident in natural light. 

Fp found himself looking down at her as she slept, his fingers brushing the skin of her leg gently, he was content, he was happy.

Laying with her in his arms he couldn't help but think of the kiss, the kiss they had last night. He wanted to know how she felt about it now she'd slept, if she regretted it. On his floor laid 3 sleepy dogs. Maple and Oreo slept beside Alice curled together.

He'd never held a woman so close to him before, he'd never cared this deeply before. It was something about her. Something that drove him crazy.

When he next looked down he could see her eyes fluttering, she readjusted before opening them fully, looking up and smiling. 

"Good morning beautiful"Fp kissed her hair gently. She responded by placing a soft kiss to his chest, a smile peaked upon his face. They laid in silence a while, Fp's hand running through her hair.

Soon her little voice blessed his ears. 

"Fp"she called out, her head still on his chest.

"Ali"

"Do you regret last night, i'm only asking because, i don't regret it, i enjoyed it so much and i like you. I really do but if you don't feel the same i need to know"Her words jumbled and he felt his heart jump.

He used his finger to lift her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes.

"Al, i don't regret anything, i was thinking the same about you. You drive me crazy, it's like i can't explain it. You are so beautiful"Her blush, her expression everything made her seem all of more perfect for him.

They weren't official or together, but the feelings were out there. 

3 weeks Alice spent there, nothing was really romantic or couple like, the kiss and the evening seemed to become the past. Fp focused alot on work and the girls. Of course they cuddled,laughed and had good times but it was alot for both of them to be together 24/7.

When she was given the clear to live alone she thanked him, treated everyone to dinner. Fp hated to see her go.

He knew he'd been distant, but his main priority was his girls, his children. He couldn't let anything tare him away from that, or them.

"Home sweet home"Alice smiled Sky and Bruno bounding in, Alice released Oreo, but he seemed sad, lonely. "You want a friend, don't you"She stroked the black and white fur gently.

She looked around her big, empty house. Feeling loneliness, just like Oreo. 

She was confused about Fp, his feelings and intentions, so she decided to back away, take a step back. In her head she thought' it was only a kiss' but her heart missed him. 

It was a mildly warm day, she had the patio doors open wide, her television on and laptop by her side. 

She had decided to resign from her job,she had applied for several others including being a children's councillor and on call doctor. The roles came as a pair. She had the skills for both. 

In pitty of Oreo Alice ended up rescuing a 7 month old tortoise shell cat called Luna, her fur was long, soft and sily. Mixtures of white,brown,ginger. She had one orange eye one blue. One side of her face ginger the other black.  Oreo was in love in matters of seconds.

She spent the following 8 weeks in her own bubble, seeing Hermione and Mary with the kids.Travelling to various beaches with the dogs. Luna had an unexpected pregnancy of 8 kittens, Alice fell in love with 2 of them so of course she kept them, leaving her with 4 cats, Oreo,Luna, Biscuit and Treacle. Biscuit was pure ginger with white stripes. Treacle was a different kind of gorgeous, her body mainly ginger infused with brown and white, each paw a different colour, one white,one black, one ginger and the other brown, her fluffy tail a mixture of white and ginger, then there was her face. One ginger ear one white. One side of her face pure ginger, the other side pure black, both colours separated by her white nose which had a brown stripe. 

She even took a trip to see her mother, saw her siblings and looked into her lineage, 

It had been a fun 8 weeks of in which she spent hardly any of them in Riverdale. She'd been on adventures with the pups,but also embarked on her own. She was currently looking after Amelia, as the youngest and a handful it was easier for Alice's mum without her in the kindest way possible, especially with her mother going through chemo therapy.

The length of Amelia's stay was yet unknown,but it was long enough for Alice to have had her enrolled into a nursery Monday to Friday so she could work. 

She had gotten the job she had applied for, Her main role was being a children's counsellor but she was also classed as an on call doctor who would go to the scenes of accidents directly to the patient. 

FP hadn't been in contact with her, she'd spent time with Toni, at the beginning but she soon backed off. Leaving the blonde shocked but there wasn't much she could do. 

She liked him. She even felt herself falling for him, But he too seemed to distance himself from her from the day she left. 

Maybe it was meant to be that way, she didn't really know. All she knew was she preferred the southside, even though they rarely spoke to her.
