Courtney
We all started to walk out of the court room. Coach Orion and Mr. Stafford were getting the scholarships organized. I was walking with Charlie and James.
"I'm so glad that we're back." James said. I nodded in agreement.
"Totally." Charlie stated. We all started to laugh.
"I can't wait to get on the ice." I said.
"Me too." James said. I smiled just to the thought of me going on the ice once again. I miss it so much.
"Hey!" I heard someone yell. We looked over and saw the varsity team including Matt, Catie, and some of the varsity's girlfriends. I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want?" Charlie asked. Brendan smirked.
"We want to congratulate you for winning of the court case." Brendan said with an attitude. He looked at me and winked. I rolled my eyes and turned my head to Charlie.
"Sure." I said as I crossed my arms.
"Oh, and we do, don't we guys?" Brendon asked, looking at everyone on his side. Everyone but Matt and Catie nodded. I sighed. "And we wanted to say good luck to y'all for the varsity-freshman game." Brendan said, making fun of my accent. I looked at him and shot him a dirty look.
"What game?" Adam asked.
"Surprise you don't know, Banks. We have a game next week. Varsity verses freshmen." Brendon explained.
"I should be the one that should be sayin' good luck to you because we got Banksie on our team, one of the best players." I stated, crossing my arm across my chest again. Brendan chuckled.
"I never cared for Banks anyway," Brendan snapped. I looked at Adam. He didn't look hurt because of what Brendon said. I turned to Brendan. "Anyway, we got Matt, best player in all college hockey."
I looked at Matt, hoping he would say that he would come over to our team, but he said nothing. I shook my head and looked at Brendan. Brendan walked up to Charlie and grabbed his tie lightly. "New tie?"
Charlie knocked Brendan's hand off of his tie, then crossed his arm across his chest.
"Don't touch me." Charlie snapped, showing no emotion on his face. I looked at Brendan.
"Fine," Brendan said with a little laugh, he looked at me. "See you later Cutie." Brendon winked at me, then started to leave with the team. I went to go get him. But James hooked his arms around mind and swung me around back.
"Hold on Courtney." James said as he still gripped onto me.
