I saw Matt get the puck. He started to race down the ice with it. I saw Courtney sprint to him and check him into the glass, making Matt loose the puck from his stick.
The puck was heading towards me. I looked over and saw Alex sprinting for it. I jumped and started to sprint to it too. I finally got it and skates off to the direction of where Fulton and Portman where.
"Bash Brothers! Get ready!" I screamed over all the cheering from the crowd. Fulton and Dean opened up and I went through them, then they closed to block me. I stayed behind them and kept an eye on Courtney. She caught her balance from checking Matt into the glass, and started to skate with Charlie to the goal. I was so ready to score, but I stayed patient. They finally got to the goal and looked at us.
"Flying V!" Courtney and Charlie yelled as they threw their hands up in the air in a "V" form.
"That's our cue! Let's go!" I yelled. Fulton, Dean, and I started to sprint to the goal, the puck still in my stick. We got to behind the goal and I passed the puck to Charlie. I looked at the time remaining real quick. One minute left. I looked at Charlie quickly. "Come on! Let's go!" I screamed. Charlie nodded.
"Let's go!" Charlie yelled. He finally left from behind the goal, us following close behind. My heart started to beat out of my chest. Charlie passed it back to Fulton, Fulton passed it to me, I passed it to Dean, and Dean passed it to Courtney.
We got close enough to where we could split up. Courtney had the puck. She passed it to Charlie. Charlie got it, got closer to the goal, and shot it.
