I sat there staring at Adam. Not in a bad way, but in a good way. I didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry Adam." I apologized. He nodded shyly.

"No. I'm the one who should be sorry." Adam confessed. I sighed.

"Look. Let's pretend this conversation never happened, and let's eat our lunch, and talk like old times." I suggested. He nodded.

"Okay, let's do that." I nodded and grabbed my sandwich.

"So, how's school?" I asked while taking a bite from my sandwich.

"Pretty good." He replied.

"What classes are you doin'?" I asked in between bites. Adam started to laugh.

"Science, math, and Heath." Adam replied.

"Nice, why those classes?" I asked. Adam shrugged as he grabbed his apple.

"I don't know, my best classes I guess." He replied. I started to laugh.

"Cool."

I woke up to my alarm clock beeping. I moaned and turned over to press snooze. I took about thirty seconds until I finally got to the button and pressed it. I rolled over and started to go back to sleep.

"Dude..." I heard Gavin, my roommate, moaned.

"What?" I moaned back.

"What time is it?" I turned back to the clock and looked at the time.

"6:30." I complained. At the same time, me and Gavin sighed in frustration.

"I'm so tired I can't move." Gavin complained.

"I'm so tired I can't think." I complained back.

"Don't you have a game or something today?" Gavin asked in a tired voice. I shot up.

"The game!" I yelled. I hopped out of bed and started to go to my closet. Gavin started to do a tired laugh.

"Nice, you have to get up and I don't." He stated teasingly.

"Don't you have a competition today or something?" I asked while getting my shirt off the hanger. I heard him shot up.

"Dammit! That's today at seven! I have to get ready!" He yelled. I heard him get off his bed and get to his closet. I started to laugh.

"Haha you have to get up." I said mockingly.

"Shut up Banks." Gavin snapped. We both started to laugh.
