Chapter Ten 

"Where is he?"I groan,we've been in the parking lot waiting for Bradley for over 15 minutes now, "When class ended he said he needed to go to the bathroom and that he'll be back in a minute."Alex says and I roll my eyes,"Well he clearly does not know the difference between 60 and 900 seconds."

"Wint chill,he'll be here soon."Alex says with a smile,"Yeah whatever,if he is  not here in the next five minutes then going to-

"Going to do what Four eyes?"Brad asks from beind us,"If you had not so rudely interrupted me you would have known what I was going to do."

"Yikes sorry. "

"Whatever just get in car."I say while unlocking the car,"Actually...."He begins,"No man what is it now?!"

"I umm-I come to tell you that I'm going to go with Smather."Bradley says and I let out a frustrated groan,"So you made us stand here for 15 minutes,15 minutes that we could have used to do something productive only to tell us that you are going to get a ride with Sam?!"

"Yeah what the hell."Alex says,you could clearly see that she was as irritated as I was.

"Sorry I-

Brad's sentence is cut off by Samther's hooting,"Brad,let's go."

"Coming."He waves,"I'm sorry for making you wait."He says with a sympathetic smile,"How will you get home?You don't know the directions Bradley."

"I'll call you to give me the directions."He says while getting into Samther's car,"But you do not have my numbers!"I yell out as the car dives away.

"I don't think he heard you."Alex says,"Whatever,he will figure it out.I am hungry let us go."

After leaving the school Alex and I went to our favorite coffee shop 'Chicka's' so that I could help her with her math,we couldn't go to my house because we always end up watching Netflix or doing something that's not studying,"Hi ladies,how are you?"Danny our favorite waiter asks,"Hey Dan the usual please."I say while throwing him the best smile I could manage to put on.

"Coming right up."He says with a smile before walking away.

"Okay so what do you want to start with?Analytical geometry?Circle geometry?or Trigonometry?"I asks Lex as I dig for my math books in my very messy bag.

"I don't know,I didn't even know those names till 3 seconds ago.What on earth is trigmety?"Alex says while slouching in her chair,"Oh boy,this is going to be a very long afternoon."I say while taking off my glasses."Bet."She bluntly responds.

"Chicken mayo sandwich,with peach flavoured ice-tea for Ms.Winter."Danny says with putting my food down,"And ham,cheese and tomatoes with lemon flavoured ice tea for Ms.Alexandra."

"Thank you Danny."Alex and I say simultaneously and he smiles before happily walking away,I honetly don't know how he manages to be so jolly everyday.

"So you and Brad have nicknames for each other now?"Alex asks a smirk placed on her face.I look up at her then down again at my sandwich,"I hate Samather so much,I was really looking forward to hanging out with Brad today."

"I knew you that you were not angry about him making us wait for 15 minutes but rather by the fact that he left with Samanther."I say while licking the top of my lip after taking a sip of my iced tea.

"How would you feel if you were told that you were going to hang out with Jake but then he bails on you to go out with some loose girl?"

"That's two diffrent scenarios Lex."I say while cleaning up our table,whenever I go out I always clean up the table and take the palates to the waiters,I found it so rude to leave a table untidy,"How so?"

"Well for starters,I have liked Jake for more than 2 years,no wait I have known him for more than two years and you have only known Bradley for what 2 seconds?"I say and she rolls her eyes while clicking her tongue,I chuckle,"I will go take this to Danny then we will start with analytical geometry."I say while towards the kitchen.

"Do you understand it now?"I ask Alex after explaining the midpoint formula to her for the third time,"Could you please explain it one more time."She says and I take a clean paper and a pencil,"Okay so if they say that the lines bisect one another,like on rectangle AETZ then you will you use the midpoint formula which is x1+x2 ÷2 and Y1+Y2 ÷2 to find your answer."I explain while writing on the paper.

"Oh so then to get the coordinates of Z you will use the midpoint  of A and E?"I give her a smile,"Yes that is correct."

"Okay I understand the work now,thank you Wint."Alex says with the biggest smile plastered on her face,"No problem Lex,it is quite late now so I think I should take you home,we will start with circle geometry tomorrow."

"Okay."She says while packing her books away.

"Bye,see you tomorrow."We say to Danny and the rest of the staff before walking out.

"Bye Wint see you tomorrow."Alex says while jumping out of the car,"Bye Lex."I say before she closes the car door.

Before I pull out the drive way I get a notification from Instagram,I pick up my phone to look and I see 'bradleywillsimpson wants to send you a message.' I roll my eyes yet again before opening the text.

'Hi could you please come pick me up at Sam's house.'

'Why can she not drop you of,she has a car.'

'She can't drop me of because she's high.' Brad responds and I reread the text,I don't even know why I'm shocked that Sam smokes,I mean she's done things say worse than smoking.

'Fine send me her address.'

'13 Malibi lane.'

I quickly read the address and type it into goggle maps.

'Bradley are you sure that that is the right address?'

'Yes why?'

'Goggle maps says that this address is 3 hours away from where I am now.'

'So?'

'What do you mean so?Bradley it is already six o'clock.'

'So?'

'It is a school night if I come pick you up that means that I'll only be home at eleven!'

'Im sorry four eyes but there is nothing else I can do,I don't have money to get a cab and the people here are drunk and high.'

'Argh I am coming.'

'Thanks love.'

'Do not call me that.'

"I swear this boy gets annoying by the hour,I can not wait for him to leave."I say to myself while putting my seatbelt on before pulling out the drive way.
