Lol alittle bit of smut for y'all from the chapter before. I hoped you liked it... ahem anyways back to the story.
Emma pov:
"Hey Emma can you help set up the table?" Akaashi asked.
"Surething dad can I get dress first tho" I answered.
"Of course I'll meet you downstairs" he says before shutting my door.
I stand up and look in my wardrobe for something nice to wear, I grabbed a pair of black ripped jeans and a blue v neck singlet with some black socks. I walked out the room and down the stairs, when I got to the kitchen I saw both of my dads in the kitchen.
"Hey dads" I said.
"Oh hey sweetie you can set the table up with those things there" Akaashi says pointing to the pile of things.
"Okay" I said grabbing some things before heading to the dining room.
I placed the stuff down and went to grabbed the other things, I placed everything where they were suppose to be before sitting in Bokuto's throne like chair and relaxed. I heard the bell for the front gate go off, I scrambled over to the intercom thingy. I stood there and looked through the camera to see Kuroo talking to someone, I pressed the button and put my mouth to the speaker.
"Hello Kuroo" I said.
"Oh hello is that you Emma?" Kuroo asked.
"Yeah it's me hold on I'll open the gate for you" I answered.
"Okay thanks Emma" he says.
I push the button for the gate to open and they drive through, I open the front door and leaned against the doorframe waiting for them. They all hopped out the car as I looked at Kaito wearing black skinny jeans with a red hoodie, he smiled when he saw me which made me blush and look away.
"Hey Emma" he says.
"Hey Kaito" I said.
"I'm starving where's your dad?" Kuroo asked.
"Which one?" I asked.
"Bokuto" he answered.
"He's in the kitchen with Akaashi" I replied.
"Oh why didnt you say that in the first place?" He says.
"Because it's way more funny to pull your leg" I said smiling.
"Geez" he says.
"Come on honey let's leave these two alone" the lady says pulling on Kuroo arm.
"Okay" he says.
I turned to Kaito who was looking at his dad, he turns to me with a smirk on his face.
"What's with that look?" I asked.
"What look?" He asks.
"Dont play dumb with me Kai" I answered.
"Did you just call me Kai?" He asks bending down to make eye contact with me.
"Ah um no I didn't" I replied getting flustered.
"I'm just messing with you I dont mind you can call me whatever you like" he says chuckling.
"Oh" I quietly said while avoiding eye contact.
"Should we go sit somewhere?" He asked.
"Oh yeah good idea... did you want something to drink?" I ask walking down the hallway.
"Yes please" he replies.
"Okay" I said.
We walked into the dining room where all the parents were sitting around chatting with one another drinking their alcohol. I walked past them and went into the kitchen, I opened the fridge as Kaito bends down to look at the options.
"O~ I want this one" he says picking up the raspberry soda can.
"Good choice I'll have one too" I said grabbing myself one.
He opens his drink and I do too, we both take a drink and sigh a 'ah'.
"Let's go to the lounge" I said.
"Okay" he says.
I walked out the other exit and entered into the lounge and sat on the couch, he sits down next to me and leans back. It was so quiet between us that all you could hear was the parents laughing from the other room.
"So?..." he says breaking the silence.
"W-" I was interrupted by my dad.
"DINNERS READY!" my dad yelled.
"Well let's go" I said standing up.
"Right behind you" Kaito says also standing up.
We walked into the dining room and saw everyone seated, I saw two empty spaces so I sat down next to Bokuto. Kaito sat down next to me and his dad, everyone started digging into the food.
"Wow this is so good" the lady says.
"Thank I made it" Akaashi blandly says.
Timeskip...
"Thank you for dinner tonight" Kuroo says.
"Oh it was nothing and besides I had to repay your son for saving my daughter" Bokuto said putting his arm around my shoulder.
"Yeah well I'll see you tomorrow then" Kuroo replies.
"Yeah see you tomorrow" Bokuto said.
"Bye Kaito see you tomorrow" I said.
"Yeah bye Emma" Kaito says.
They drove off while me and Bokuto stood there waving 'bye' to them, once they were gone we stopped waving and headed back inside.
"That went well" he says.
"Yeah it did" I said.
