The Tower

The walk to the tower was a slow and quiet one. Loki did not say anything, but you can tell he had a million things on his mind.

And although you can still feel the connection and can clearly smell him, he's acting different, it feels off and you decide that something should be done about it.

You don't know why, but you don't like Loki being distant.

"Hey Loki?" you say softly, to get his attention, "is everything ok?"

He looks at you with tenderness in his eyes, "Perfectly fine pet. Why do you ask?"

You stop and turn to him "Well, you seem a little...different from before".

When he looks away and doesn't say anything, you walk past him as you pull on his arm.

You let your hand slide into his and cross the street dragging him into the park, the same one you had been at earlier.

You reach a bench and sit down bringing him with you.

You know you should go straight to the tower, but you aren't sure you'll get the chance to speak with him alone again.

Plus, you were trying to delay having to take your attention away from him to be honest.

You notice him smirk, "You know darling, I do not usually let strange women drag me into dark places late at night."

You can tell he's trying to change the subject. You just shake your head and exhale trying to fight back a smile. You put Loafy's leash on the side as he lays down by your feet.

"Okay, what's wrong?" You bring the attention back to him as you ask him again. He looks at you and you can tell he's debating.

He's not gonna tell me. Why would he? He's right, I am a stranger.

You look down to your hands and as you're about to get up he starts, "It is not that I do not wish to tell you. I just cannot find a way to say it without having you think that I have lost my mind, as not even I can comprehend what is going on."

You lift an eyebrow at him, "my aunt's boyfriend flies around in an iron suit, my best friend can move things with her mind, not to mention her boyfriend was an A.I. that was brought to life literally like a few months ago, and I'm sitting in the park with the God of freaking Mischief. I'm pretty damn sure I won't be running for the hills screaming!"

He looks at you and chuckles. "No, I suppose you wouldn't", he says, "but how was I to know? I'm not a witch."

"Oh, no? Then why are you dressed like one?" Is the first thing to slip out of your mouth after his comment and you immediately place a hand over your mouth and start to apologize. He just laughs.

LOKI'S POV

I could not help my laughter. The reaction to her own words was hysterical.

"My brother...he's said that to me before." I say to her. Though my brother is an oaf he is brave to speak to me in that manner. And I cannot help from thinking to myself, She has courage in her.

Suddenly, her eyes widen, and I, once again, panic thinking I have done something wrong but the next words to come from her mouth surprise me.

"Loki...w-what are your powers?" She asks determined to know.

I look at her, "Why do you ask darling?"

She leans back on the bench, "well I know you can teleport because Vision mentioned it, but also, you seem to be doing something that Wanda does every once in a while, without my permission..."
