Author's POV
"He sounds so nice!" Kevin squeals as Chanhee tells him anout him and Hyunjae. "He is. He is my type of person." Chanhee says shyly smiling to himself. "Look at you. In love and happy. I am happy for you Chanhee." Jacob says patting his back comfortingly. "How is his family like?" Kevin asked. "Everyone seems nice. I don't know about his father. He doesn't seem to like his father much. But he has two brothers. The older one is married. The youngest is my age. I didn't realized but obviously we are in the same university, in the same class." Chanhee says as he takes a sip of the hot coffee he had made for himself.
"Have you talked to him about it?" Jacob asked. "About?" He asked. "About the dreams." The older said. Chanhee freezes in his seat. "No. I am scared to do so. What if he thinks I am crazy. Also weird but I didn't dream about those things yesterday." Chanhee says as he thinks back to how he had such a great rest the last night. "I think you really need to. None of us understand what your dream is about but... i might sound crazy for saying this but.. what if he sees dreams about you too?" Kevin asks. Chanhee sighs. "I am not sure. I really don't want to risk whatever we have by freaking him out with my dreams. It is already weird that I have been dreaming of him for years." He says looking down on the table.
"Do you think you were related somehow? In your past life. I mean..... Listen I know this sounds very realistic but I have read some things on this." Jacob starts. "Read what?" Chanhee asked. "Me and Jacob had been very curious about all this. So we have searching a lot about.... Your dreams. I mean like if there are people who dreams like you." Kevin adds. Chanhee looks at them confused. "You can say we have been searching the whole internet about these dreams you have. And we came across some very interesting but also creepy articles." Jacob says. Kevin sighs. "We are not saying that these dreams might be what those articles says but there is chances." Kevin says.
"So what are these articles about?" Chanhee questions. "Past lives. Dreams about past lives." Jacob answers. Chanhee laughs nervously. "Ayee it can't be that." He says. "Think about it though. We went through various articles. Obviously remembering past lives and dreaming about them are very common. There are children who remembers their past lives very vividly. But usually the children stop seeing these or remembering it as they grow up." Kevin says.
"But I am not even a kid.." Chanhee protests. "I know. But isn't it weird how the dreams started after you had a near death experience. What if that experience triggered your mind to remember bits of it and shows in your dream?" Jacob suggests. Chanhee nods hesitantly.
"It might be but that sounds so unreal." He comments. Jacob sighs. "Anyways let's wrap up our talk. Let's open the shop now." He says. The three agreed as they got up and got everything ready to open. When the shop opens the customer immediately starts coming in. It was just like everyday. Except for Chanhee. There was a small change in his life. Lee Jaehyun.
Meanwhile~
Hyunjae sits in his office looking through the files. Sighing once he a while. He couldn't stop thinking of Chanhee. "I am going to go crazy." He sighs to himself dragging his hands down his face and ruffling his hair. Just then his assistant, Jaene, walked in looking high on alert. "Sir, Mr.Lee.. I mean your father is coming here to talk to you. He informed me just now." She said. Hyunjae frowns. What did his father wanted to talk about now? "Okay. Please prepare something to drink for my father." He says. The assistant nods and walks out.
Hyunjae stands up and groans feeling his spine crack at the movement. He picks up his phone walks towards the sofa that was inside his large office sitting down there to wait for his father. He unlocked his phone and decided to send a text to Chanhee.
"Are you up for a date later?"
He texted. He closed the phone. The younger was probably at his part time job so it will probably take him a while to see and answer the text. Just then his father barged in. "Lee Hyunjae what have you done?!" His father's voice comes out harsh and stern. "What are you talking ahout?" Hyunjae asks playing innocent. "You left Choi's daughter? In front fo everyone? Between your date!" His father said. Hyunjae shrugs his shoulder. "I told you I didn't like her. But I still went there. But after one look I felt disgusted." Hyunjae says as he leans back.
"Do you just how much bullshit I had to heae from Choi because of it? If you had just acted like a better gentleman we could have made a good future with you and their daughter. It would have been so much better for our business." His father states shaking his head disapprovingly. Hyunjae scoffs at his wordsa s he stands up. "Why is it everything about business? Do I look like some object to you? I already have someone I want. So stop setting me up for some petty business." He says.
"Don't go against me Hyunjae." He father warns in a sinister tone. "Why wouldn't I? I am just making a choice for myself this time. Because I am sick of you making every choices for me." Hyunjae says. His father shakes his head, his face cold. "We will see." He says as he walks out. Hyunjae sighs. He doesn't really like fighting like this with his father. He just wanted his father to let him make his choices for once.
He shakes his head and with a last sigh he goes back to his word. Just then his assistent comes in with two cups of coffee. "Jaene my dad already went back. You can leave one here. And you can drink the other one or something. Also please recheck the files from our recent partnerships." Hyunjae says. Jaene nods as he puts down one cup of coffee on Hyunjae's desk and walks with the other leaving the said male to focus on the files and all.
