Chapter 18

"A new beginning can be a start of something very beautiful."

Author's POV

The next day Hyunjae looked a bit better than the last night. He even made sure to assure Chanhee to not feel guilty about anything. That it was his own choice to leave his family. On the morning even Juyeon and Sangyeon called Chanhee asking if Hyunjae was okay. They didn't seem angry or anything. Just worried for Hyunjae.

The older had also decided to get a job. He was qualified enough to get a job. Chanhee still felt bad. He had an idea on how to help Hyunjae but he was a bit reluctant. Will Hyunjae be okay with it? But he decided to give it a try. While Hyunjae was out to meet up with his friend Younghoon, Chanhee decided to reach out to someone he needed to in order to help the older.

He looks at his phone. With a nervous sigh he picks it up and dials a number. After the third ring the call was picked up. "Do Kyungsoo speaking." A calm voice said. Chanhee gulps. "Hello Mr.Do. Its Choi Chanhee speaking." He says. "Oh hello Mr.Choi. Have you decided?" Kyungsoo asks getting straight on point. With a shaky breath in Chanhee answers yes. "But I need to meet you first. In private. I have some things to settle down. Can we meet today?" Chanhee asked a bit hopeful. Kyungsoo hums. Chanhee hears sounds of papers flipping. "Yes yes I am free today. I have no other schedules or appointments." Kyungsoo says after a while.

"We can meet at my office." Kyungsoo suggests. Chanhee agrees to it. The older gives him the address to his office. "I will see you there soon then. I will come now." Chanhee says. After ending the call he quickly got dressed enough to look presentable. He books a cab. When the cab came he told the driver the address and headed towards where the office was.

When they reached here he was greeted by the staff in the reception area who had been informed about him. She quickly led him to Kyungsoo's office without delay. After a while Chanhee found himself sitting face to face again with the older again. "I am glad that you have finally come to a decision." Kyungsoo says with a small smile. Chanhee just nods. "I am willing to accept everything my grandfather has left under my name. But I want to make a few changes. You told me right? That my grandpa wanted me to do anything I wanted with them?" Chanhee asks. Kyungsoo nods pursuing his lips in thought.

"The company. Can I put it under someone else name?" Chanhee asks. Kyungsoo looks shocked for a moment but his face went neutral in a second. "That is possible. But who is this someone may I ask?" He questions. "My boyfriend." Chanhee answers shortly fiddling with his fingers. Kyungsoo leans back. "Okay. If you trust the company in his name then I can make arrangements. To put it under his name." He says. "How long will it take?" Chanhee asked. "Not that long. I have some connections that can speed up the process." Kyungsoo said. Chanhee nods in understanding.

"Please make it as fast as possible." He says. Kyungsoo nods. "Other assets though will be under your name. All the arrangements for it has been done. And you only have to sign it." Kyungsoo says as he hands him a paper. "The moment you sign this everything is yours." He adds. Chanhee looks at the paper. He still can't believe his grandfather left him all these. "Maledine Corporation is still on move as you may already know. One of your cousin is handling it. He has his own business but also handling your grandfather's business because after all the company can't go down just like that. Does your boyfriend know well how to handle a company?" Kyungsoo asked.

Chanhee nods. "His family is the owner of one of the well known company. He left everything for me because his father wouldn't accept me. He is no longer the heir. His father has disowned him for choosing me. This is why I need Meladine Corporation under his name. I can't let him lose everything." Chanhee says. Kyungsoo nods in understanding. "I will do my best. If I can finish all the arranged in two days I would like to meet your boyfriend. And also when do you want to sign that?" He asked referring to the paper Chanhee was still holding.

"I will sign it now." Chanhee decides. "Perfect. But just to warn you. The moment you sign this you will be the heir to almost everything. And even if the company will be under your boyfriend's name you would still have a reasonable amount of responsibility for the company. The moment you sign the paper and accept the assest you will have to stay at your grandfather's mansion. You are a heir now and you are to be protected. Business afterall gives you enemies." Kyungsoo says.

Chanhee bites his lower lips feeling a bit nervous but nods. He takes out a pen and signs on the paper. He hands the paper back to Kyungsoo. "I will make a file of every important paper and will give it to you." Kyungsoo offers and Chanhee nods saying 'thank you'. After some more talks he finally went back home. He finds Hyunjae already there. "Hey baby." Chanhee greets. "Heyy~ where did you go?" Hyunjae asked. "Just had some work to finish up. It is done now though." Chanhee says.

He was not planning to tell Hyunjae about his grandfather and the assets he left for him. He will tell when Kyungsoo was done preparing everything to put the company under the older's name. "You know I love you right?" He suddenly asked. Hyunjae smiles as he pulls him in a hug. "Of course I do. I love you too. A lot." He says. "I want to protect you too. Make you happy. Give you everything. Like you always do to me." Chanhee says. "Having you in my arms is the best thing already." Hyunjae states chuckling.

"You are so cheesy." Chanhee says laughing. Hyunjae pulls away dramatically gasping. "Just admit that you love it when I am being cheesy for you." He says. "I don't want to." Chanhee says poking his tongue out. "You better run or else I am going to catch you and kiss you until you admit it." Hyunjae warns. Chanhee squeals as he runs up as the older follows after him. It is safe to say they spent the remaining day kissing and laughing. Totally in love with each other. And Chanhee was sure he did the right thing when he decided to put his company under Hyunjae's name.

Finally an update after such a long time!!! My exams and viva completely ended so I decided to start updating. God I missed this! Anyway this chapter is a bit short but I hope you all liked it~
