The pleasant smell of different coffees being made alongside the pastries being sold welcomed the two minors striding along it's hardwood floor, the taller spotting the Chinese boy taking a sip of his drink.
"You're kidding"
"I might look like a clown but I'm not", Donghee replied, pulling the chair across the silver-haired and leaving an empty seat beside for the girl, Munhee.
"You did not just bring me to your...date", Munhee commented, hesitantly taking the seat beside her, avoiding eye contact with the present Yangyang.
Taking hint by her date's raised brow, surprised by the unplanned plus one brought by her, Donghee tapped the table, "You wouldn't mind if she's with us for like..few minutes?"
"If your friend's fine staying on a date, I won't Yin"
"We're not fr-"
"Thanks Yang, so what do you want to order?", I turned back to Munhee, raising my brows up and down while waiting for her answer.
"I'll go with you", the latter presented, planning to stand from her seat only to be held back by the former who flashed her a reassuring smile.
"You just chill here Munhee, so what's your order?"
After briefly seeing the menu, a noticeable movement of gulping came from the younger. "I only have 1,500 with me", she whispered, barely audible to the smiling Donghee.
Can't be more thankful that I brought extra money aside from that one for Jisung.
"Do you like hot chocolates?"
"...Is it the least expensive one?"
Donghee just patted her hair, which caused the younger to flinch in surprise. As the former stood afterwards from her seat wordlessly, heading to the counter.
"Hey Yongie nice hair color"
The said barista then chuckled at her compliment, dismissing the small crowd of girls, turning to the already familiar brunette, "I thought pink would make me look weird actually. The usual?"
"Yeah please add a single hot choco regular sized though."
"Got that!New friend?"
Pivoting her head to where his pen was directed to, Donghee clicked her tongue in disagreement, "Barely know her.Just helping her out"
Lee Taeyong, part-time barista from Deja Vu Cafe.Crowd favorite.
"Didn't know you're Korea's Make a Wish"
"This is a one time thing Taeyong-oppa", she cleared, raising her index finger to visualize the 'one time', which made the barista shrug in return before beginning to make their drinks.
"You should chill on dyeing your hair Yongie, I don't want to see you sporting a bald-head around", she jokingly told the pinkette who was chuckling while another barista was handing her their drinks.
The puppy-looking barista, Jungwoo chimed in agreement, "Told him 'bout it way too many times"
"Our genes are well blessed", Donghee heard him spoke to the younger before she walk back to their table.
I'm betting I'll be seeing my cousin bald in no time.
Although both don't share any obvious similarity, being Chohee's elder brother makes him their cousin.
"I'll wait for you in the car", Yangyang told her as he let go of their intertwined hands, plainly nodding at the newcomer.
"I interrupted your date"
I shrugged, taking another sip of my strawberry frappe, "It's not a date. Are you feeling better?", I was puzzled by the confusion written in her face, before I finally realized why, "It's just the soulmate seeking sense."
"Yes..Thank you by the way"
"I told you, I asked you if you want coffee so it's okay"
Heaving a deep sigh, Munhee shook her head, "I meant for stopping me from actually...being that"
"Will you be fine after I leave?"
"Yeah.You should go"
Standing up from her seat, Donghee carefully patted the younger's shoulders, "Let's see each other again soon, okay?"
