The two sat across each other, Jeno purposefully sat on the seat which would give her full access to glaring straight at the poor barista, to which Donghee rolled her eyes at.
So this is how she's like during that time huh?, Jeno thought to himself as he watch her make the effort to turn back just to squint at the barista's every movement.
And there goes Miyeon who looked towards their direction, finally catching the burning gaze Donghee had been giving her, she raised a brow at Donghee before looking away.
"Why are you still staring at her"
She turned her attention to Jeno who had his chin leaning to his palm, "Nothing", before flashing a smile and leaning back to the red chair as if nothing happened.
"Really?"
"Yes mister beautiful eyes"
"Wow", he mutters under his breath, turning his eyes away from hers along with his face that he felt heat up by the compliment she nonchalantly dropped.
"Here's your orders, a Strawberry Hot choco and a special Americano"
"I didn't order a special though.."
Donghee's lips tugged upwards into a smirk seeing the visible drop in glee formed on Miyeon's face as she carefully transfer the drinks to their table.
It didn't last long though after the latter girl replied, "Oh sorry I meant an Americano for a special cutie with a Red hair"
"Oh haha.. Thanks.."
"Is it your favorite color?It must be since it looks soo good on you"
Jeno let out an uneasy smile as his eyes caught sight of Donghee whose eyes went blank whilst staring back at him, as if waiting for his response.
I'm not affected, it's just my period, Donghee repeatedly tells herself as she bites the insides of her mouth to stop her from showing more emotion.
"I think you should be there, working", he tells her in the most polite tone he could muster, pointing at the counter where Taeyong stood.

Now it was her turn to drift attention elsewhere, using her fingernails to tap the porcelain cup as she hums a made-up rhythm.
"You look disappointed"
"I'm not", Jeno replied rather quickly, eyes still on her as if a robot scanning an object's purpose.
Donghee clicks her tongue in frustration the moment her eyes land on his red hair again, turning away from it once more.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing", she replies, also confused with the reactions she gave and the bubbling of negative emotions inside her.

Jeno tilted his head to the side, analyzing her further, a small smile forming in his lips as he took another long sip of his drink.
"Should I dye my hair?"
"Are you asking me?", Donghee asked, raising a brow as she spare the eye-catching deep red hair another look.
With the straw on his lips, Jeno nodded happily, raising the atmosphere that somewhat dropped after Miyeon's appearance.
"Due it's your hair.. Unless you want me to dye mine as well?"
"Didn't you say blue looks better on me?"
"Any color fits you honestly", she replies, tearing her eyes away from his piercing gaze, "I think I'd dye mine blue though", Donghee added, her fingers reaching for the ends of her dark brown hair.
"Dude we'd look great.. in blue hair"
"What?"
