Pushing the glass pivot door open, Donghee stepped aside for a second to let Jeno pass through, the gesture made both of them chuckle while they walk to the counter.
"Now this is what I call good news Jae"
The said barista then peeked his head to the counter, greeted the two before going back to his station, "I'll go with Americano", Donghee calmly told him as the pinkette spared a glance to Jeno.
"And yours?"
Jeno's eyes roam around the menu behind Taeyong before it stopped, "I'll try the matcha cappuccino", the latter nodded, mentioning the order to another barista before going on to tell Jeno how the coffee is his new favorite from the coffee section.
"It's like if you ask me to pick between the Americano and the matcha cappucino, I'll definitely take the matcha cappuccino.I wouldn't even let you finish the question, if it involves my matcha then I'm going with it"
"Oh wow you really like it huh?"
"Oop bad choice of words", Donghee snickered from beside him, making him confused but not until he saw the widened eyes Taeyong gave to him.
"Really like it?No I really love it- What's his name again?"
"I'm Jeno"
"No wait I mean he's Jeno", Donghee quickly followed after sinking in her mind what she just said.
Taeyong nodded with a grin, "Baekhyun hyung wouldn't be very happy if he sees me chatting away so you two better go find a table and Kai hyung would just bring it over"
Following his directions, Jeno pointed out a table by a window with 2 burgundy tub chairs on either side that looked quite comfortable settled beside the window.

"Why are you staring at me?", Jeno asked her as he put down his cup, instinctively checking his reflection for anything.
"Your hair's the same color as the chair"
"Does it?Oh.."
"Who wore it better then?"
"The chair"
"Damn dude.. I'm offended"
Donghee laughed along with his humored offense, "You better try again next time dude", she told him, diverting her gaze to the snowing road at the other side of the window.
"Let's play 20 questions"
"That's too many.. Let's do 10, you go first"
"When's your birthday?"
"June 6, 2000.. You?"
"Same year, April 23"
"What's your plan for college?"
A short moment of silence filled with Jeno slightly taken aback with such question inlaid early into their game, but formed a thin smile before answering "Business management, what's yours?"
"Med-tech as my pre-med course"
"That sounds fancy"
"You mean sounds like a headache", Donghee jokingly replied, sparing a brief glance to Taeyong who leaned by the counter, not even bothering to hide the fact he's watching them.
"Hmm.. hobbies?"
"You already know I like gaming so.. watching some non-sensical stuff on youtube"
Jeno laughed, earning a look of confusion from her, "I just find it funny how your course sounds so complicated but your hobby is like chill"
"Pretty sure my brain forgot all the lessons from last school year"
"Okay my turn again.. Where'd you came from?"
"A different planet", he replied nonchalantly, but slouched back to his seat, "Canada"
"Really?What's your english name?"
"Oops no follow-up questions"
