"White, and let me guess yours", she confidently told him, Jeno nodded, his lips forming a cocky smirk, "It's red"

"Wrong, my favorite's blue"

"Then why dye your hair red?"

"I don't think I look good with blue hair"

Hmm.I think he'd look fine with blue hair., Donghee thought to herself as she picture him with the royal blue shade as his hair color.

"If I ever dye my hair, I'd dye it blue"

"To convince me?"

"Yeah I'm gonna make you wish your hair's blue"

"Alright dude let's see", he returned, nodding his head in agreement.

"What's your english name Lee Jeno"

He chortled, tilting his head to the side then flashing a playful grin to her, "Jokes on you, I'm still called Jeno back there"

"Dude for real?"

"Jeno is so easy to pronounce dude"

Squinting her eyes at him one more time, Donghee nudged him to shoot his question.Jeno hummed for a few seconds, seemingly thinking for a question better than a simple favorite color, hobby, birthday..

"Does your parents know about.. this?"

Donghee shrugged, licking her lips clean from the drink she just finished, "Yeah my mom, you?", Jeno responded by shaking his head.

"What was your first dream job?"

"Oh wow.. Uh let's see.. I think it's to be a ??"

"My first was being a model but you know.. stuff happens"

"Like standards wise or you changed your interest?"

Clicking her tongue, Donghee mimicked his early demeanor, "Oops no follow-up questions"

"Dude you were the one who asked though"

"Still counts"

"Fine then, what made you change your dream job from being a model to a doctor?", his counter-attack resulted in Donghee gasping as she quote 'it was that jaw-dropping moment'.

"That's smart dude. I hate you"

"Ouch"

"It's really nothing special, my height was all right but they needed a.. fairer girl", she hesitantly told him, briefly recalling that one photoshoot type of audition she went with her mom when she was just 12.

The hit of realization silenced Jeno who's gaze softened as he caught the hint of bitterness upon the mention of fairer girl and her eyes that now drifted away from his.

Ripping the ruined atmosphere through the clearing of her throat, Donghee turned back to him, "Wow final question", she jokingly remarked, attempting to lift the mild tension, "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"

"Not gonna lie, you sound like someone from a job interview", he commented but answered the question regardless, "I'll be 27 so I should be working by then so I guess hopefully be at my.. wedding", he answered, intently waiting for the reaction her eyes would give.

"Oh wow would you look at that, we finished our drinks!" Donghee said, pointing at both empty cups, obviously steering the conversation away from the topic.

"It'll piss them off"

"Exactly", she nonchalantly replied, continuing the tugging of the hem of his sweater as Jeno just let her, giving up.

"On the count of 3 you run"

"On 3 or like after 3?"

Abruptly halting from her approach towards the button, Donghee turned to him who stood few steps away, "Just run"

Right after saying it, she softly spoke the numbers before proceeding to push the said button twice before swiftly taking hold of a stupefied Jeno by his right wrist and fleeing.

Stopping by the turn which was a good distance away from the house, Jeno finally manage to catch his breath. "I al..almost tr-", he was cut off briefly with Donghee raising her right index finger to his lips by instinct as she take a peek.

She chuckled, turning back to Jeno who still hadn't spoken for nearly 10 seconds, "She looked so excited to see who it is and..! Oh..", she told him whilst laughing, dropping both her index and her hold from his wrist.

"I almost tripped"

"But it's fun"

Despite the earlier complaint, Jeno's eyes formed it's beautiful crescent shape whilst he nods his head, "Let's do it again"

"See?Now you're getting it!"
