Kiyotaka PoV*

"Well, do you have the club form application with you?" Mikadou asked with a smile.

"Yes." Momokura said while handing the papers to her.

"Looks good, welcome to the club Momo-chan." Mikadou immediately called her by her first name, and what's more? Added by -chan.

"Please don't call me that." Momokura replied.

"What's the harm? Should I call you Momon then?" Mikadou said.

AN: Momon from darkness intensifies*

"Please stop." Momokura replied without changing the expression of her face.

Momokura seems to be the type to be unreadable.

"Anyway, as the goal of this club is to improve the members grades, I'll give you a test Momokura." I said.

She nodded at me cutely, apparently she likes challenges.

I handed it to her, it was just a bit hard for an average first year highschool student, I wanted to make the questions harder, but I'll do that after more trial and errors.

She silently answered all of them, swiftly and carefully, even I can see that sureness of her eyes, determined to ace this, as she seemed like she was getting mocked.

"Time's up." I said, an hour pass and that was the time limit I set up.

She handed me the papers, I gave the paper which had questions 51-100 to Mikadou while I graded questions 1-50 for efficiency.

I was a bit disappointed. Out of 50 questions that I was grading, she only answered 19 correctly, if she did only this good for the other fifty then she only got 40 points at best out of 100 questions.

She needed a lot of work.

"I didn't expect this of Momo-chan, I believed that she was smart because of her glasses." Mikadou muttered while grading hers.

What the hell are you saying? Glasses is not equals intelligence, sure it can indicate hard work in studying and the cause was bad eyesight.

"Appearance doesn't indicate intelligence Mikadou-san." Momokura replied.

She was a bit worked up that she didn't notice Mikadou called her Momo-chan huh?

Her tone of voice carried a bit of anger mixed in it, I needed to calm down the situation.

"Well you did bad in the test, but you got the foundations right, you know your way around some subjects but also bad at some." I said, steering off the situation elsewhere.

She silently watched me and just observed quietly while we waited for Mikadou to finish grading her papers.

"Momo-chan got 15 questions right." Mikadou said, satisfying our curiousity.

Now I'm convinced that she just genuinely wants to join because she have bad grades.

"Well, the midterms are due in a few weeks, I'm sure we can help you." I said.

"Please do..." She said sheepishly while looking away. "I wouldn't want to be expelled because I didn't have good grades, I'll be ridiculed if I come home with that reason." She muttered which both Mikadou and I didn't hear.
