Chapter 30

I was walking to the port mafia while trying to not open the letter. I wanted it to be opened tonight while i was all alone.

I also wanted to talk to Chuuya and try to make things up between us. I cant stop thinking about him. I hate it but at the same time love it. I want him. All of him. I need him.

I learned what his promise was. Not to fall in love with me but to protect me. I know why Melody told him this. To protect me. She doesnt want me to interfere more with the port mafia.

But i dont need her protection. I decided to leave her back. I will read this letter and then try to live as myself. I will restart my life as me. I wont be Melody anymore. I will be Y/n.

And as Y/n i want chuuya next to me. To be with me. I know theres something. I know he feels this tension between us. I dont think he is that blind.

I reached the headquarters of the port mafia and went straight to my old shared office with chuuya.

"HEY CHUUYA!" I opened the door without knocking greeting him. He look at me shocked at first but his expression changed into an angry one.

"What do you want?" He said through his teeth while closing his eyes trying to stay calm and not beat me up.

"I came here to make things up" i said sitting at a chair opposite him. I leaned forward resting my chest in his office. I placed my hand under my chin resting my head and smiled at him.

"We have nothing to make up." Chuuya responded opening his eyes and he was faced directly with my V neck shirt.

His cheeks became a bright shade of pink but he tried to not show it. He was cute.

"I met Dazai today. And i learned about your little promise. You don't have to keep it. I know you feel this tension between us too. I know you crave me"i said and licked my bottom lip while going more forward now inches away from his face.

He looked deep in my e/c eyes and then he glanced at my lips. I saw him leaning closer and i closed my eyes waiting for him to kiss me.

I felt his hands cupping my face and then i felt his breath at my ear.

"You are right. I would love to make you scream my name right here right now but I can't break the promise. Thats all i have from Melody" he whispered and let me go.

I shoot open my eyes and looked at him wide-eyed. I couldnt believe what he had said. I nodded in response and sighed.

"Im sorry" i sat back down and started playing with my fingers. I dont know what has gotten into me. I bet my period is going to say hi to me soon.

"Why did you meet Dazai?" Chuuya asked after some seconds and i realized what i had said. Gosh i cant keep my mouth closed.

"He wanted to give me this" i showed the letter and he took it from my hands. He observed it and smiled before giving it back to me.

"When are you planning to open it?" He asked and i shrug my shoulders.

"I was thinking of opening it tonight." I whispered and i smiled while looking at the letter.

"Mori told me to give him your letter. So i suggest you open it as soon as you can." He told me and i nodded.

"Can I open it now? With you?" I asked and looked at him pleading that he would say yes.

He looked at me shocked but then smiled and nodded. I smiled too and i gave it to him.

"Read it for me" i said and he nodded once again opening the letter.
