Chapter 9

When you crossed the door with Dazai everyone had turned to look at you shocked because they didnt know who you were.

"Everyone it is rude to stare like that. This is Y/N L/N that i told you about. You know the one with the gift that changes body every 2 years." Dazai starts to speak at first annoyed but then happy.

"O-oh right" a guy with light gray hair, pale skin, and average height with a slim build says coming closer.

He has segmental heterochromia, consisting of purple with yellow along the bottom curve of his pupil. His hair is short and swept forward in loose spikes with a lock left long on the right side of his face. He also wears a white blouse rolled up to the elbow, black overalls, a loosened black tie, and black shoes.

"Hi im atsushi. Nice to meet you" he says smiling giving you his hand.

"Im Y/n. And same i guess" you smile akward giving your hand to shake them too.

" Im sorry for you. It must be tough to have this kind of power. You know i am a tiger and at first i felt really unlucky but it isnt so bad compared to you..." Atsushi starts to say scratching his head.

"Its fine i got used to it"

"But hey Dazai told you the good news right? This will stop now that you became Melody!" He says happy giving you a bigger smile.

Wow he is too enthusiastic and kind for me. I better not kill him. So i need to stay away.

You nod your head but dont say anything. You dont really want to talk to him because the chances will become bigger of him to die for you.

With this suddenly chūya comes at your mind out of nowhere.

I have already talked to Chuuya. He already is in danger too. I dont want him to die. I need to back off from him too and talk to someone in the street or something.

"Come Y/n! Lets go meet the others" Dazai holds your shoulder and leads you to the back of the office.

There you see someone giving you his back and eating something.

"RANPO!" Dazai enthusiastic says.

The guy named Ranpo turns around still eating some chips. He has short, messy black hair and his eyes are closed.He is wearing a brown inverness cape that he wears over his shoulders and whose color matches his hat. He also wears glasses.

He looks at you up and down. You think.

"Hello Y/N nice to meet you. I have heard a lot for you and looked for information about the gift you have. It was a great mystery which i was happy to solve!" Ranpo says proudly opening his eyes which are green.

"Your the one that Dazai mentioned?" You ask.

"Yes he is the one! His 'gift' is really important for us as he solves every mystery in less than 10 minutes." Dazai explains with a smile at his face.

"Thats amazing!" You say excited.

"Want to knwo something more amazing?!" He whispers to you happy.

"What?"

"He isn't gifted!" He whispers louder making you shocked.

How is that even possible

"Ranpo is it-" you start to say but feel dazai put his hand over your month so you cant ask him that question.

Oh well.

"I would ask for money if you werent beautiful" ranpo murmurs taking another chip.

"Huh?"

"Nothing. Chip?" He asks giving you one.
