Playing bedwars with Niki at 2:30am was a normal thing for us. The two of us had the most fucked up sleep schedules, but it also meant that we were awake while the other was.

It was Friday night- no Saturday morning, and most of our friends were still awake probably being weirdos like usual

Niki: shit shit shit our bed!
Y/n: oh no!

I speedbridged to our bed and knocked the player into the void

Y/n: I got them! We are fine
Niki: awesome!! *yawns* hey after this game, I think imma head out
Y/n: okay!

Niki then came back to the base and we started bridging towards pink team. While fighting off the players, Niki got the bed. We cheered once we had gotten their bed and then waited for them to respawn before killing them

While we went around being awesome at the game, I heard a knock at my door

Y/n: oh, come in!
Karl: hey n/n, wanna go on a late night skate to get a bite
Y/n: yeah sure! Just let me finish the game and I'll be down
Karl: ok! Take your time! Also hi niki!
Niki: hi Karl!
Y/n: ok shoo

I shooed Karl away with my hand, he laughed and closed my door behind him

Niki: OOOOOOH KARL AND Y/N SITTING IN A TREE
Y/n: no no no niki
Niki: you're literally in love with him
Y/n: as a friend
Niki: oh c'mon don't lie to yourself love
Y/n: *sigh* I-I'm not lying to myself...
Niki: that's not convincing at all
Y/n: shut up
Niki: oooh shes getting defensive
Y/n: I'm stabbing you into the void c'mere
Niki: WAIT NO! IM SORRY IM SORRY
Y/n: good. You better be

Soo enough the game of bedwars ended, Niki and I obviously winning. We said our goodbyes and I headed downstairs to see Karl sitting on the couch on his phone

Y/n: hey! You ready to go?
Karl: yeah! Can you get me a monster from the fridge please
Y/n: gotcha

I walked over to the fridge and got two monsters for Karl and I. I handed him one of them, before opening my can and taking a sip

We took our skateboard and walked out the door. Karl grabbed the keys and made sure the door was locked. We skated down the street, close together. We didn't talk much, just enjoyed the breeze pushing the hair off our faces

While skating, we took sips of our monster

Karl: McDonald's?
Y/n: I'm down
Karl: lets go!

Karl lead the way to McDonald's. It wasn't too far away from our house, probably a 8 minute skate. When we got there, we got off our skate boards, picking them up and walking inside the fast food chain

We ordered 20 nuggets with large fries and a large coke. We were gonna share everything. Karl had already finished his monster and soon I downed the last bit of my monster before putting the empty can into the bin

Our number was soon called and Karl got up to get everything before coming back to our seats

Karl: food for you m'lady
Y/n: thank you thank you
Karl: how was bedwars
Y/n: chaotic
Karl: typical
Y/n: how was talking to Dream, George, Sapnap and big q?
Karl: absolute chaos
Y/n: poor you
Karl: yes poor me
Y/n: everything ok? You usually don't ask to go on a late night skate to McDonald's at 3am
Karl: yeah no, just wanted to get out of the house I guess
Y/n: 3am skates hit different
Karl: they really do, especially when I'm with you
Y/n: aww Karl
Karl: it's true though! You just make everything 10000% better
Y/n: I'm gonna melt
