Y/n was in bed, watching "Lady and the tramp". They didn't have the energy to do anything nowadays. Just felt numb. Everything felt like too much work. Everyone they talked to overwhelmed them in some way. Everything just wasn't good. They wanted to dig a hole and stay in it for eternity
While they were focusing on the movie, a knock was heard on their apartment door. They paused the movie and made their way towards the door. When they opened it, they saw their boyfriend Sam
Sam: y/n! Y/n: Sam? What are you doing here? Sam: you haven't been answering your phone all day! Y/n: oh sorry, it must be on silent
He walked in, engulfing y/n in a hug. They melted into Sam's arms, wrapping their arms around his torso
Sam: it's ok, I've been worried sick about you Y/n: sorry Sam: are you ok love? What's going on Y/n: I'm fine Sam, just not feeling well Sam: hey
Sam gently brought y/n's head away from his chest, making them look up at him
Sam: what's wrong? You can talk to me Y/n: nothings wrong Sam Sam: y/n, we've been together for three years. You can't lie to me baby Y/n: not fair
Sam chuckled and pressed a soft kiss on y/n's forehead
Sam: so what's making my baby upset huh? Y/n: so y'know how you told me I should talk to a therapist? Sam: mhm Y/n: I did Sam: and? Y/n: she diagnosed me with depression
Sam's small smile dropped and turned into worry
Sam: she did? Y/n: mhm Sam: oh y/n, it'll be alright. I'll be with you all the time. Please call me if you ever feel like doing something Y/n: I don't wanna disturb you. You're a bus- Sam: nothings more important than you y/n. Promise me you'll call me if you feel like you're gonna do something Y/n: promise Sam: good. What were you up to? Y/n: watching lady and the tramp Sam: without me? How could you y/n
Y/n giggled, unwrapping their arms from Sam and started walking away. The brunette didn't allow this and pulled them back by their waist
Sam: you can't leave me Y/n: I'm going to watch my movie Sam Sam: we will go together Y/n: ok, let me go Sam: no Y/n: you confuse me so much
Sam giggled and simply picked up y/n, throwing them over his shoulder. Y/n shrieked and gripped onto his shoulders. Sam made his way towards y/n's room, laying them down and then crawled into the empty space next to them
Y/n: was that necessary Sam: very
Y/n rolled their eyes and pressed play on the movie. They scooted closer to Sam, resting their head on his shoulder. Sam wrapped his arm around them, bringing them somehow closer

Sam: have you eaten?
Y/n stayed quiet
Sam: what do you wanna eat? Y/n: I don't know Sam: well you have to know Y/n: you chose, I'm indecisive Sam: fine fine, I'll get ramen Y/n: I like ramen Sam: that's why I'm getting it silly
Y/n scrunched their nose and watched as Sam ordered their ramen. Then a text message from boomer popped up asking if Sam was free to stream. Without hesitation, y/n watched Sam swipe down on the message and reply with "no I can't right now sorry :(("
Y/n: Sam Sam: I am busy with my partner Y/n: hmph Sam: you feeling ok? Y/n: I don't know Sam: do you need a hug? Y/n: if I'm being honest, I don't know what I want Sam Sam: that's ok! When you do, I will be there to give it to you Y/n: you can't give me everything Sam: try me Y/n: you can't give me happiness Sam: there are a list of things that make you happy. Me being the top of the list Y/n: damn, you're right
Sam leaned down and pecked y/n's lips before pulling away and running his fingers through their air
Sam: I love you y/n, you do know that right? Y/n: I know you do Sam. I love you too
The two smiled at each other. The rest of the day, they stayed up cuddled in bed and watched movies
Sam was right, he was the main source of happiness for y/n
