( i completely forgot about his little brother so i'm adding him back into the story)

jayda's pov

lee's brother monty was finally coming to the new house. he allowed monty to stay with a friend for a few weeks so he could finish school and say his goodbyes since we left last minute.

i was cleaning up my area because i had just cooked breakfast. lee was working out and suddenly came to open the door. i heard laughters and deep voices. i smiled as they sounded happy. i wish i had family i thought to myself. i shook off the negative thoughts and kept it moving.

"hey jayda" he greeted

"hi monty nice to meet you" i said

"this looks good" he said

i chuckled and fixed everyone's plate and pulled out sum drinks. we all sat down and i turned on the tv.

"have you looked at sum schools" lee said

"yea i only seen like 2-3 that were good schools with good sport teams i'll try out for" he said

" i heard (a school in miami) was really good and their basketball team just won the tournament" i said

"that was my first option i think the education system is good too" he said

i shook my head up and down. lee was just smiling at me i raised my eyebrows and he just shook his head.

"so how'd you two meet" he asked

"mm umm in a grocery store he helped me for a couple months with my business and then we caught feelings and decided to start fresh somewhere else" i said lying a bit

"cool cool well do y'all wanna go to the pool today" he said

he was an extrovert which was cool

"sure i don't have plans i shrugged" i said

"aight go clean the dishes" lee said

"damn man i just got here" he said

i laughed

"and you gon just clean them dishes"

i went upstairs and got dressed and put sum shorts on

"bae" i said

"hmm" he said looking at me peeing in the toilet

"you think people are gonna say something about my scars" i asked

"no mama" he said

"are you just saying that" i asked

he flushed the toilet and then came to my sink and leaned over me and washed his hands.

he kissed my neck and cheek.

"i'm being honest" he said drying his hands.

i pulled my hair into a bun and put on my flip flops. i gotta make sum friends down here and get a job.

i grabbed a bag packed with towels, lotion, sunscreen, my shades, and lip gloss.

they started stuffing they stuff in my bag as well. we grabbed sum snacks and started walking since it wasn't far.

"ahh shit lee they need a coach for basketball the last one just retired" monty said showing lee sum on his phone

"mhmm i'm only gon do it if you even go to the school" he said

"fine we gotta start workouts i been slacking since you left" he said

"i bet" monty chuckled.

we opened the gate and sat down there were some other people here and sum teens monty's age.

"go make sum friends and a girlfriend " i said pushing his shoulder

"i will don't rush the player" he said being cocky

i just shook my head laughing and started applying sunscreen to my body.

"come on youn need that much" lee said already in the pool

i rolled my eyes and made him get out and take my pictures. he did and i put my phone in the bag and tiptoed in it was sooo cold.

"aye everybody in the pool wanna play volleyball" sum kids said

we all said yea we basically did adults vs teens/kids

it was a even amount on both sides. monty was enjoying himself.

"your bathing suit is cute" this girl around my age said

"thanks yours is too" i smiled

she said thanks and we stopped talking cause the game started. i love playing volleyball it's harder in the water but ian wanna be lame and not play.

the other team was good but we was busting they ass right now.

i was hoping my nails don't break cause god lee.

after a couple more games and switching teams around and shit we finally took a break.

i got out and sat down for a second. monty was hanging with his hopefully new friends. and lee was playing basketball with them.

the girl came and sat by me.

"girl we did good" she said high-fiving me

"on god" i said outta breathe

"what's your name"

"jayda and yours"

"milan" she said

"that's pretty what side of the neighborhood do you stay" i asked

"a little down the street to the left"

"ohh okay i'm to the right i just moved here"

"i thought so y'all looked new. but that's my daughter right there and my boyfriend and then my brother playing with the blue shorts"

"aww a cute family. the other dude is my boyfriend and his little brother" i said

"we gotta meet up sometime it's a lot to do here if you ever wanna you know get lit" she said

"definitely" i said

we talked and talked about everything and she said she would hook me up with her job and shit. she said they pay really good and it wasn't that hard of a job.

i was down for it cause i was ready for more money to start coming in. as we walked home we parted ways and i told them bye.

i went straight to the shower and lee got in with me.

"i see you made a friend" he said

"i did, did you?"

"yup" he said picking me up

i laughed and kissed him as he put me back down after washing we got out and got dressed.

today was pretty fun
