we were back in florida and i was cooking breakfast because lee had a interview at the high school. i was excited for him. he enjoyed coaching so hopefully he got the job.

"you look good" i smiled sitting his plate down

"thank you" he said taking a deep breath before eating.

i put the rest of the food in the microwave since money wasn't down yet. i sat next to him and while we chit chat and ate.

he finished quickly before he was late. i kissed him before walking him out. i cleaned up the kitchen.

"monty" i said

"yes" he said

"you coming to eat or what"

"i'm not that hungry" he said

"okay" i said

putting the leftovers in the fridge. i started to wash my work clothes for tomorrow. i re organized the closet cause i kept throwing shit around.

i played more music and then laid down. i needed to smoke so bad. i called milan.

"heey boo" i said

"hey you okay" she asked

"i will be in a second. do they drug test" i asked

"not unless they think something is up" she said

"okay good cause i need to smoke desperately" i said

she laughed "you coming in tomorrow"

"yess i can't take no more days off my check finna be ass."

"i hear you thats why i barely take off checks be skimpy as fuck" we laughed together

"i gotta clock back in but i'll see you tomorrow" she said

"okay bye love" we said hanging up

i smiled and started rolling up my blunt. i turned my music up and the sparked it. i made sun videos since i looked good right now. as i was so happy i didn't have to worry about dave anymore.

i felt a little peace. lee's birthday was in 2 weeks and he deserved a nice gift from me. so i decided to go shopping for him today.

knock knock

monty opened the door

"you wanna help me shop for lee's birthday" i asked

"yea i'll come what time you wanna leave"

"anytime you ready" i shrugged

"okay give me 10 minutes" he said turning his game off

i closed his door and then went to get dressed. i wore a basic t shirt and sum shorts and i wore my air force ones. i did a side part with my lace front and did the edges tied it down and we were ready to go.

we drove to the mall discussing what we wanted to get him.

"i was thinking maybe a chain he keeps talking about how bad he wants one"

"okay okay and he also been wanting these shoes and a pool table for that empty room hopefully we can find the stuff" i said getting out the car.

we went into the best jewelers spot here first. i knew he would want sum basic so he doesn't draw attention.

"help me pick idk what he would like" i said

this one it's not real big or small and it's not extra" he said

"how much" i said looking up at the dude

"2k but this one is on sale today for $7k" he said

"mm that one is pretty nice too" i said holding it up.

" so should we get the iced out cuban link or the gold cuban link" i said

dave had a card under my name and when lee killed him he gave me the card. so i'm gonna be spending all the money on this bitch.

"iced" monty said

"you want something" i asked

"really" he said

"yes can't go over $5k tho i giggled"

"no no i'll take the one that was 2k" he said

"alright y'all done here" he said

i shook my head yes and then we payed and left. i was so happy.

we drove to the other side of the mall and went inside. i pre ordered the shoes just had to pick it up. i also got monty got him a fitted to got with it. we called around for a pool table and finally found one.

we got it carried to the car and we drove back home. we hid the stuff before he got back home. we sat down on the couch like nothing happened.

"tuck the chain so he don't question nothing i'm not a good liar" i said laughing

he walked inside smiling hard asf.

"good news?" we asked

"veryyy good news i start tomorrow" he said

"yayyyy look at you" i said hugging him.

"it's gon be a great year" he said

i laughed.

"so what all you have to do by tomorrow" monty asked him

"get situated i get a tour. everything equipment wise is already provided so yea. all i have to do is be a good coach. i don't go back into the school until school starts tho" he said

"that sounds pretty easy" i shrugged

"did he say when tryouts will be" monty said

"december"

i let them talk and i decided to call in food again . we ate and then i went to sleep for work tmrw
