2 months later

everything was going good. i've been better mentally knowing that dave isn't out there anymore. monty got into the school lee's been a coach for the high school and he's been enjoying it. basketball tryouts about to starve so he's been doing sum training classes and getting money from that.

i'm still a nurse/assistant at the doctors office. i was about to go to college to be a midwife tho. i love helping people and i also love babies. i was just waiting to get accepted some where.

it would take up to at least 10 years but i was very determined.

i was 22 i would be 32 by then but that was no problem with me. but i also could finish early. since i took nursing in highschool and online college at home when i was with dave. i can bump down to 4 years or less idk yet depending on my courses.

i had 3 hours of work left. we didn't have much to do today so i was chilling for the mean time until more stuff needed to go into the system.

by this point i was able to check patients into room and let the doctor know who was here and stuff like that. i was happy cause this meant i made more money.

i also gave shots and filled pill bottles. since we do that at this location.

i was so tired for some reason today. and felt oddly nauseous. i decided to drink water figuring i was dehydrated.

"you feel better" milan

i shook my head no.

"let me check you out before my next patient" she said

i got up and followed her into a room. i sat on the table and she started checking my breathing and my heart beat and she stopped once she got on my stomach.

"what's wrong" i said noticing her face

"shh ... i hear a light heart beat in your tummy but i'm not certain if it's a baby or not" she said

"you think-" i said

"i think so but take a test and go from there" she said handing me sum test.

"should i say something to him now or after the test"

"after" she said holding my hand

i shook my head and put everything in my purse. i clocked out and drove home.

"hi baby" i said

"hey my love you okay" he said

"yea i'm just really tired" i said getting off him laying on the bed. i took the test at the doctors office. i would look when i wake up

he rubbed my back and was going over sum of the grades of the people trying out.

"should i be nice and let sum people with bad grades make first cuts" he said

"i feel like sports could motivate them to get better grades cause they don't wanna get kicked off. like not terrible grades but you know" i said

"you right i'll see" he said

i leaned over and just thought about it i was ready to raise a kid or not.

"what's wrong" he said

"long day that's all" i said

"get sum rest" he said turning off the light and laying next to me.

the next morning

i was in the bathroom throwing up. i already called out today because at 4 am all the test came out positive.

i wiped my mouth and used sum mouth wash.

lee and mont were already at the school. so i'd have to tell him once he gets back.

i sighed and got ready for my appointment. i don't know if it was wrong to be going without him but i wanted to tell him face to face.

i took a deep breath and got ready to leave. i ate sum grits with cheese to see if it'll settle down.

i walked inside the office and thankfully it wasn't a long wait. she did sum basic check ups on me and made sure the baby was healthy.

"everything seems too look good your about 6 weeks along your due date is about july 9th" she said wiping the stuff off my stomach

she talked about diet and much more.

"it was nice meeting you do you have any questions"

"no i don't think so" i said

she scheduled my next appointment and i decided to go to the school to take him lunch.

i signed in as a visitor and went to the gym. he just finished a class.

he smiled when he saw me.

i handed him the food.

"your the best" he said leading me to his office.

we ate together and just talked. i didn't wanna give him the news at school.

he had to get back ready so i left out. i drove back home and crashed on the bed. i was so exhausted
