Chapter 48: Replacement.

YANNA'S POV

SHIT HE HEARD ME!

"Ang ingay-ingay mo." sabi niya at muli naupo siya at sumandal sa puno.

I looked down "Sorry. I didn't know you're here." 

Hindi na siya sumagot kaya tinignan ko siya. Nakikinig lang siya ng music habang nakapikit. "Akala ko ba magkikita kayo ni --Nica?"

Hindi siya sumagot. Mukhang malakas yung tugtog na nanggagaling sa earphones niya.

"Kenjie!"

"H-Hoy?!"

Wala pa din siyang "Hoy Aguilar, are you ignoring me? I'm talking to you."

 

Peste naman oh! I sighed. "I just wanted to ask you----is it true? about the pictures? I really didn't know that you liked me before, you should have told me." Huh what the fuck am i even saying? Kahit naman malaman ko na gusto na niya ako dati pa, once naman na dumating din yung ganitong oras, gagawa pa din ako ng paraan para masaktan siya. Para 'yung pagmamahal na meron siya sakin, ibaon niya na sa limot because we both need this.

I think Love isn't both for us. No, Love between us isnt both for us.

He still not responding nor looking at my way. His eyes are close, i got the chance to memorize his face. maybe he can't hear me because of the music. "you really do have beautiful eyelashes. I almost thought that you're curling it."

Ngumiti ako. Para akong tanga. Nagsasalita ako pero hindi naman niya naririnig. I am just talking to the thin air.

Napagpasyahan kong umalis na pero laking gulat ko ng bigla siyang humikab at tumayo. "I should have charged my iPad earlier, oh crap!"

HUH?

He look at me. "Oh, still there? can I borrow your iPad charger? Lowbat na kasi 'yung ipad ko pagka-alis ko nang cafeteria. I think i left my powerbank and my charger at my condo"

WAIT -----WHAT?

"-----oh never mind! I forgot that i am meeting someone, i have to go. Bye, Yanna."

He stood up and started to walk away but i was shocked when he said something. "these eyelashes are natural. Also, that's the thing-----i LIKED you."

He really did emphasized the word liked. Past tense. How---painful.

He heard everthing. I flashed a bitter smile. "--if only you can also hear what's on my mind, kenken" i whispered

FARRA'S POV

"Anong gagawin natin dito?" I asked Josh, we're in a park.

He smiled. Naupo kami sa isang bench.

"Just---stay here, Farra." He said.

I just mouthed okay.

He then left me. San naman kaya pupunta 'yun?

"Ate?" sabi ng isang batang lalaki na lumapit sakin. "Ang ganda-ganda mo po."

Ngumiti ako sa batang lalaki na iyon "Salamat."

bigla naman tumakbo papalayo yung bata. Huh?

Laking gulat ko nang may lumapit nanaman saaking panibagong bata "Ate, you're the cutest thing in the world."

"W-What? Ah---salamat." at tumakbo na din ito papalayo.

OKAY?

Paulit-ulit na may lumapit sakin na mga bata at lahat sila iba-iba ang sinasabi tapos biglang tatakbo.

"Ate, ang sexy mo po."

"Ate, you're so gorgeous"

Weird. These kids are weird.

"Ate, I love you po, just the way you are."

WHAAAAAT?!

at tumakbo nanaman 'yung bata. This is very unusual.

 

I heard someone laughed behind my back. I knew it was him.

Hinarap ko siya. "Josh, did you see those kids? They're weird."

He smiled and look straight into my eyes. "You are indeed beautiful, cute, sexy and gorgeous, and yes----I love you, just the way you are. I already love you, Farra."

I can feel my face turning red.

 

He caress my face then i suddenly felt his lips on my forehead. "Thank you for helping me to move on. Now, I can see clearly that my future will always be with you."

I can no longer control the tears flowing from my eyes.

I am so happy.

beyond happy.

YANNA'S POV 

I feel sad upon receiving a text from ate Cathy...

Hi Yanna! Just want to inform you about the details of our contract signing, please check your email. Also, Kenjie and Nica won't be around for about two weeks, we'll be going back to Canada for some businesses there. I informed you because you know, you're his girlfriend. That'll be all! Goodnight.

I told Krissel about this, and knowing her, she told this to her boyfriend.

They both teased me saying...

 "Kung sa isang araw nga lang madami ng pwedeng mangyari, pano pa kaya ang dalawang linggo?" Sky teased.

"Baka kasi pagbalik niyang si Kenjie, hindi na ikaw ang hanap-hanapin. Baka yung dating Yanyan, mapalitan ng Nicnic." and my oh-so-called bestfriend added.

I sighed.

Okay na din siguro 'yun para makalimutan niya na ako. diba?

even it is painful.

But will really be Nica replacing me in his heart?
