Packing up everything I need for the trip to the zoo, I squeal again in glee at the thought of it. Loki should be here any minute to pick me up so we can go! Making sure I have everything I might need.. Sunscreen? Check. Water? Check. Money? Check. phone to take multiple pictures of the animals? double che-
'Avengers Emergency. Summoner, Cap. Meet at Docking bay 1. Avenger's Emergency-' The message will play on loop until Friday recognizes that I've left my room.
My shoulders slump sadly, looking down at my already prepared bag I sigh loudly into the empty room... Hopefully Loki wont be too mad at me for missing our outing...man.. I was so excited.. Looking down at my current outfit I shrug.. Lilo and Stitch T-Shirt with cloth pants? Should be good enough for a mission.. Walking out of my apartment with a brisk pace, I bump into a solid mass of chest. My eyes dart up seeing Loki, my stomach curls anxiously. "I'm sor-"
"Don't worry about it Darling, we can go tomorrow, no need to fret your pretty little head about it. Do you have any idea what this emergency is about?" Loki follows my pace as we walk through the compound. Looking down at his outfit I see a tight fitting green V neck with some black leather pants.. Hot damn. Our steps nearly matching each other. Walking through the common room I see Tony sipping some Whiskey at the kitchen's counter, giving me a small wave as we pass.
"Good Luck kid! BE SAFE!" Smiling wide I nod to him. Tony gives me a thumbs up in return.
"Always am!" God he's become such a 'Dad' around me lately. "As to your question Loke's, No fricken clue. Must be important though if they need me. I'm the superhero swiss army knife if it had a blackhole as an attachment." Shrugging I push the glass door leading to the outside open. Walking across the large campus, heading to the hangar in the distance. The sun beats down onto me, causing me to begin sweating. Ugh.. fucking nature.. I would give anything to be a shut in. but alas.. helping others is more important than my comfort.
"If it's so important, than why not send me as well? I am a magic wielder after all.. Not to mention a god." Loki scoffs at Steve's choice for this missions team.
"Dunno, Cap must have his reasons.." Loki grits his teeth thinking to himself.. 'That bastard knew I had a date with Liza today.. He's trying to destroy my chances with her!'
Walking around the corner I enter the large hangar doors, Steve stands in the distance tightening the straps to his suit. The cold building makes me smile in relief, a safe haven from the goddamn sun... Our eyes meet across the concrete wasteland, giving me a meek smile nodding his head.
"What's the sitch Mon' Capi'tan? I'm missing out on seeing tigers Steve! TIGERS!" The one time I get to see my favorite animal in person! Not to mention the animal that inspired my fursona!
"Sorry Liza. There's a Mutant wreaking havoc in San Francisco. I'll give you further details when we're in the air." Steve walks inside the plane, glaring at Loki as he passes.
"Be safe alright Darling? I don't want you getting hurt.." Loki holds my hand in his, a worried look on his face.
"Pfft. I'll be perfectly fine Mischief. Two Demon dogs couldn't take me down, so why should a mutant?.. Plus I got the bracelet Odin let me have, I'll be perfectly fine.. I'll message you when I'm done okay?" Loki slowly nods, releasing my hand from his grasp.
"I shall see you when you return Kitten... Be safe." Shoving his hands into his pockets, watching me enter the craft. K-kitten? That's ah... New..
