- Two Days Later -
Laying in the hospital bed, I wait for Hoppsin to return from his task. Shitty cable television plays in the background as me and Steve both watch it. There is nothing better to do as we lay here healing... I'm bored out of my fucking mind, sick and tired of watching this shitty goddamn cable..
Hearing the door open, I look away from the TV to see Hoppsin in his human façade. With a small white bag laying on his arm as he enters the room further. Walking to my side he sits down on the flimsy chair, setting the bag down in my lap with a smile.
My eyes sparkle as I eagerly empty the bag all over my bed. Steve looks over curiously to see what was so important I have...
Wire. Craft wire. Covers my hospital bed.
"Liza.. Why did you make Hoppsin go get you wire?" Steve looks at me confused, adjusting himself in his bed to see it better.
"Well with me and my autism, I like to have things to fiddle with my hands. Those shitty fidget gadgets that people made are utter garbage. Back home I used to make giant knot balls from old t-shirts scraps, but since I can't do that here.. I made Hoppy go get me some wire to play with... I love making little animals with it the most. Hoppy show him my mouse I made!" Opening the little baggies containing the wire, I start to form the base. Weaving the tiny strands through itself until I get a good shape.
Hoppsin smiles proudly, reaching a hand through a small scarlet portal by his side. Pulling out a small humanoid mouse man. Made entirely of craft wire, it weaved through itself to create it's body and head. Small little wire arms dangle by its sides, a tiny tail behind it's body.
"That's impressive! I could never do something like that.. I prefer to draw or paint when I have spare time-"
Gasping I hold a hand to my chest for dramatic effect. "Steve- YOU DRAW?! You're a man after my own heart."
"Y-yeah, I loved to draw since the 40's." Steve smiles at my enthusiasm. "I haven't been able to do much of it recently though.. Too busy with the mission's."
"I love drawing so much. But I could never draw things realistically like most people do.. it's too hard, I can't wrap my head around it.. So I have my own art style- That's how Proc and Bjorg were made! I was doodling one day and boom, there they were on the paper! I made them in the middle of a math class, the teacher sucked ass at doing his job." Rambling on I continue to form the chest of my creation, looking at Steve. My hands working on there own.
"Wow! Maybe we can share drawings some time? If you feel comfortable that is-" Steve looks to the floor for a moment.
"Yeah sure! I have all my art posted on my deviantart- Even uh.. My 'Not safe for work' content heh." Winking at him, grabbing my phone from the small table beside me. Pulling up the website to show him my creations- aka 90% of it is my Fursona.
"What's that?" Steve looks over at me, his brows furrowed.
"It's a website that allows artists to share their art with others! I don't have many followers, last time I checked.. But since I've become an Avenger.. I bet it's sky rocketed.." Scratching my arm I wince in embarrassment.
