- Two Days Later -
Recently in an attempt to get me to socialize more with the others, Hannibal told Tony to gift me a gaming laptop. Then.. Hannibal took away my next gen gaming PC Tony got me 'temporarily', saying that I can only game out in the common room for the foreseeable future... what an ass..
Sitting lazily on the common room couch legs propped up on the coffee table, pressing buttons on my keyboard at a rapid pace. Sticking my tongue out in concentration, I force my character to teleport back to base to heal before the enemy player attempts to stun and kill me while I'm at low health.
Before I could heal myself, the game ends with our loss.. Fucking hell.. nobody protected our giant.. Groaning loudly leaning back slightly, I rub the heels of my palms into my eyes. Watching as Anubis whimpers sadly on the defeat screen. Cursing softly to myself, I decide to start another siege game.. Sitting back on the couch I get myself comfortable, scrolling through my Twitter until the game pops up.
After about a minute the match begins and I enter the character selection screen, before I could click Anubis he's snatched from me by another player. Asshole.. I wanted to farm up some more favor to level him up.. I want the goddamn diamond skin so I can flex on noobs. Scrolling through the god selection screen I feel overwhelmed by the amount of options.. Fine, whatever.. guess I'll play Loki since he got a re-work recently.. Locking in my choice the game starts a moment later.
Spawning at our pedestals, I open up the shop to buy my potions to start with. Walking to the right lane I go to wait at the tower in stealth. "Fuck.. what's the command..? V V G H for hello? Gah, damn Hi-Rez and there stupidly complex chat commands... It's hard to relearn all of them since I took a two year hiatus." After finally figuring it out. The Loki in the game waves his hand, saying 'Hello' to my teammates using a voice box I got in a lootbox years back.. when I spent money to try and get a skin for another hero.. Kukulkhan, it made him look like a dragon.
Getting impatient at the timer I decide to gank some enemy gods. Walking into the jungle to the left, sneaking around making my way towards the buff's location. Finding one of them I exit stealth and quickly kill their ass while they're AFK.
"Fascinating.." Screeching out loudly I jump in fright, causing my laptop to slide from my lap dropping to the hardwood floor. Loki dives down over the back of the couch, grabbing it before it could smash onto the floor. Handing it back to me with a smirk I take it from his hands, my eyes darting to the game I gasp. Noticing an enemy Odin coming in to attack me whilst I was AFK. Fuck!
"Mother fucker-" My brows furrow and I rush back into stealth, moving around the enemy Odin as he turns around attacking blindly in an attempt to remove my stealth, moving behind him I strike in a flurry of attacks getting him down to low health.
"You play as me in this... video game I believe Stark called it?" Loki leans onto the back of the couch behind me, watching me press buttons like a crazed maniac.
"Huh? Yeah... I'm re-trying your god out. They gave you a re-work a while ago, I'm not that big into assassin type characters but eh... I'm more into mage types.. Anubis and Kukulkhan are my favorites." Killing the enemy Odin all by myself I notice that my ally Ymir is at low health. Recalling back to the fountain to regenerate my health before walking my character to the left most tower to give aid to Ymir.
"Is.. my brother in this game as well?" Loki leans in further looking down at the small screen, watching intently with an indiscernible look.
"Yea, you, him and Odin are in the game. Kinda pissed they haven't added Frigga the all mother yet. Hopefully they'll bring her into the game in future... But more than likely they're gonna add more to the Japanese and Chinese pantheons." Minions walk down the lane towards the enemy's tower, me and Ymir follow them killing the enemy's in the process. Me only half paying attention to the real Loki behind me.
