The Captains Wife

Chapter 1

Meliodas' POV

I let out a soft sigh as I look out the window of the tavern as Hawk's mom is walking through the lands. Right now the group and I are on our way to Istar to get the power that Merlin had taken from me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I feel as if something major is about to happen. I can't decide if it is going to be for the worse or for the better.

"Sir Meliodas? Are you okay?" I hear Elizabeth ask from behind me.

"Just fine." I say with a grin while groping her boobs.

"Enough of that Meliodas. We are here." King says while he floats up to us.

I nod my head and we wait for Hawks mom to burrow herself into the ground. When she is comfortably underground we exit the tavern. I can see the confusion on those who aren't familiar with this place but it is just as I remembered it.

"Sir Meliodas there is nothing here?" Elizabeth asks with confusion lacing her voice.

Before I can answer she walks through the entrance of Istar. I hear her gasp in amazement and I feel a slight smile on my face forming.

"Meliodas! How nice it is to see you!" Jenna says as she approaches my group.

"Hello Jenna." I nod my head with a smile.

"Who are you guys?" King asks with Gowther nodding his head.

"I am the head of the druids. My name is Jenna and this is my younger sister Zaneri." Jenna smiles as she introduces herself and her sister.

Before anyone can respond Zaneri grabs my hand and she says "Meliodas it is so nice to see you again." I chuckle awkwardly and pull my hand from her grip.

"I am here for my power." I say in a serious tone.

Jenna nods her head and says "We know why you are here, and we were expecting you. You guys already have some friends here that decided to train. Zaneri."

Zaneri nods her head and says "Meliodas and princess follow me." I nod my head as we follow them breaking away from the group of people that we came with.

"So what do I have to do?" I ask curiously.

"You have to pass a test." Zaneri says simply while leading us to a tower.

Once we arrive I can sense some tension with Zaneri and Elizabeth in the same room but I ignore it. "Okay. Let's get this over with, I have some people to defeat." I say with a determined face.

"Meliodas you need to know that this test is going to dive into the deepest parts of your memory, and if I get even an indication that you are out of control I will stop the test and you will not get your power back." Zaneri says in a serious tone.

"Yeah. Yeah. Just get this started." I said in a serious tone.

She rolls her eyes and says something under her breath and all of a sudden I am sucked into my mind.

Elizabeth's POV

I watch as Sir Meliodas goes silent and still. I start to get a bit worried but I notice that Zaneri isn't fazed by this so I choose to trust that he has began his test. I wonder what it is?

"Um Lady Zaneri what is the test that he is undergoing?" I ask in a soft voice.

"That is none of your business. You have your own test to focus on." she responds with a slight glare but I choose to ignore it.

"Right!" I say with determination filling my body.

3rd POV

As Meliodas and Elizabeth are undergoing their test together the rest of the group is heading to where they will start their training. "You said we had some friends here? Who are they?" King asks while floating in the air and looking at Jenna.
