The Captains Wife

Chapter 11

3rd POV 

Currently in the room, everyone is sitting around a long rectangular table. Bartra is sitting at the head of the table with Margaret to his right and Veronica to his left. Gilthunder is sitting in between Margaret and Howzer, while Howzer is sitting by a human sized Diane followed by King, Elaine, and Ban. Next to Ban is Jasper who is also sat by Adonis who is say by Elix. Serena is at the other end of the table with Meliodas sitting on the other side of her. Elizabeth is of course clinging to Meliodas and on the other side of Elizabeth is Merlin, Arthur, and Escanor. 

"So what are we going to do?" King says getting straight to the point. 

"Well, like I said I have already deployed medical troops, and our military troops are on stand by. I think the best course of actions is to figure out what steps we can take that is going to protect everyone involved. Meaning all of the kingdoms regardless of their race." Serena speaks with a serious look on her face. 

"Well no duh. How stupid are you?" Elizabeth asks while glaring at Serena. 

Before anyone can respond Elix slams his hands down onto the table while sending a vile glare towards Elizabeth. "You better shut your mouth right now. I do not know who you are or what you are but I will not allow you to treat my sister like this! The siren race have not been involved in any of this, so we could have just walked away and caught up with our missing queen, but no we are hearing risking everything just for you ungrateful humans." He speaks in a deep and demanding voice sending shivers down everyone's spines but his siblings. 

"Um did you just say sister?" Gilthunder says turning his attention down to his mom. 

Serena rolls her eyes and sends a slight glare to Elix but says "Yes. These three gentlemen with me are my brothers. That is all you guys are going to get from me right now because quite frankly it is none of any of your business except for my son and his love."

"What about me?" Meliodas asks in a shocked tone. 

"You lost that right when you couldn't protect our sister." Adonis says while glaring at Meliodas. 

Before Elizabeth can say anything Serena slams her hands down on the table just as Elix did a moment ago. "Enough of this! Do you guys not care that there are citizens out there dying and suffering? It does not seem like it all. It seems like you guys are more interested in arguing over everything! I do not want to hear another word about my past! I do not want to hear another word about Meliodas or I or Elizabeth! I am fed up. I spoke with all the leaders and we all agreed if this continues to happen everyone involved with have their magic and power sealed and you will have no part in this war. We cannot chance you guys risking people's lives because you wanted to argue over something stupid. That is an order from every leader so test them and see what happens. That goes for even the royal families." She speaks with authority and everyone in the room can clearly see that they have pissed her off. 

Elix wants to argue but he knows better than to argue with his queen. He bows his head and says "Yes my queen." 

He sits down and everyone but the siblings look at him in shock. Serena goes to speak but is cut off by a voice from behind her. "Serena? You're alive?" 

She turns around quickly when she sees Zaratras standing there with Dreyfus and Hendrickson. Without realizing what she is doing she teleports right into his arm and hugs him tightly as tears fall from her eyes. 

"Zaratras I missed you so much." Serena speaks as her sobs start to become more noticable. 

At that moment there are different reactions throughout the room. Elizabeth feels smug and relieved, Gilthunder has tears in his eyes as he watches his parents be reunited, Margaret feels happiness for her love and his family, the brother trio feels relief and joy as they watch the pair, and Meliodas feels jealousy start to build up.
