Ban, Elaine, and Serena are all making their way into the castle to go visit the king and to say goodbye to Gilthunder before they leave.
"How are you feeling about returning to your people?" Elaine asks while looking at Serena with curious eyes.
"I am nervous, scared, but so happy and excited at the same time. I do not know how they will react." Serena says while rubbing her arm nervously.
"There is nothing to worry about Serena. You are an amazing woman and an amazing mother and there is no doubt in my mind that you are an amazing queen as well. I am sure your people will be ready to welcome you back with open arms." Ban says with smiling down at Serena with Elaine nodding her head.
"Mother what are you doing here?" Gilthunder asks walking up to the group.
"Well darling, we are going to be going back to my people for a couple days. I have to prepare them for their parts in the war, and I have a promise to uphold." Serena says while smiling softly at Gilthunder.
"I didn't upset you earlier right?" Gilthunder asks while looking at his mother with guilty eyes.
"Of course you didn't darling. I understand that your world has turned upside down and you are trying to cope. I don't want you to push yourself darling. Take care of yourself okay? I am sure you will be able to handle it yourself, but if you ever need me I will forever be there for you okay?" Serena says while she pulls Gil into a hug.
Gilthunder tears up but nods his head not being able to respond verbally.
"Everything will be okay darling. I will be back in a couple days okay? If you need anything go to Meliodas. I love you so much." Serena says before she softly kisses Gil's forehead.
"I love you to mother. I will see you in a couple days." Gilthunder says, and then kisses his mother's forehead and then waves before leaving.
"It is so beautiful to see your bond with your son." Elaine says giving Serena a smile.
Serena gives her a smile but she can't respond because they finally reached where the king is. "Please wait for me out here. It won't take long at all." she says before making her way into the throne room.
"Hello Serena, what can I do for you?" Bartra asks while smiling at queen.
"I just wanted to inform you that Ban, Elaine, and I are all going to visit my people. We will be back in a couple days. Please keep Meliodas and Gilthunder safe." Serena explains with a small smile on her face.
"Of course. I did promise you that I would protect them." Bartra says with a smile.
Serena nods her head and then makes her way out of the throne room and approaches Ban and Elaine.
"You guys ready?" Serena asks with excitement shining in her eyes.
Ban and Elaine both nod their head, but before they can say anything Serena closes her eyes and snaps her finger and all of a sudden they are standing in a beautiful field that shocks Ban and Elaine and brings tears to Serena's eyes.
