Noelle's POV######========########========########=======
In the morning we got back on the road. Miles with us. Jess thanked me for coming. Telling me to take good care of her sister and then we left. To drive for who knows how fucking long to get to the perfect house. But if it ment I got to sped more time with Jordan I was down for however long it was gonna be.
We stopped at a gas station and after o had picked us up some sunflower seeds and water I walked out of the store. To see someone an inch away from Jordan saying "come on just give me your number!"
I walked up Jordan wrapping my arm around her waist and she untensed a little.
"Hey J. He bothering you?" I looked at him and gave a signature death stare I gave to anyone who pissed me off.
"Oh sorry." He said backing off and walking back to his car.
Jordan let out a huge sigh.
"Oh my god thank you. That guy was such a creep."
"Yeah well most are." I said.
"All of them are." She said
"Ehhhhh I know a couple that aren't all bad."
"Name two."
"Jason and all of the Groomsmans."
She nodded.
"Fair enough."
We got back in the car.
Soon we drove out of Texas state lines and Jordan teared up.
"Hey what is it?" I said taking a hand off the wheel to grab her hand and rub it.
"That was my Great grandmothers house. That was the first and last time I'll get to see it. And I only ever got to see her in person once. She only called ten times to!" She sobbed.
I rubbed her hand.
"Hey Hey. She's gonna be alright and so are you. No matter if there is an afterlife or if there isn't. She's better off now. And you have so much to live for. You have your sister and a huge streaming community. A massive family. You've got a great life ahead of you and I'm sure she's happy for you."
She smiled at me wiping her tears away.
"You left one thing out that I have to live for."
"and what would that be?"
"You."
I smiled.
"What about you. What do you have to live for?"
"I have you and my streaming community. Now I have Miles and the new house. New memories to be made."
I smiled at her. What she didn't realize was that I was lying. The one thing I had to live for was her. The only thing.
We sat there in comfortable silence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We arrived at the house three days later. We rented hotel rooms when we got tired not wanting to ruin our sleep schedule.
when we finally arrived I saw it was fully furnished to.
"JE did you really buy this?"
"My parents don't give a fuck about money Noelle so yes."
I giggled. In the past week everything we'd done had been something interesting but now we both owned a house.
I smiled.
"Well come on your highness lets check out our rooms."
We walked upstairs.
I looked in my room. Every wall was painted a purple I enjoyed. And the ceiling had stars on it that when it was dark enough the paint glowed. The bed sheets were video game themed. Which I enjoyed. There was even a Minecraft pillows lying on it.
I smiled wider.
There was a gaming setup that looked decent enough. The chair was comfortable. There was even a Cat bed for Miles which upon closer inspection was shaped like a Volkswagen Beetle. And it was yellow.
The tables and closet were painted black as well as the trim of the wall. The lamps were black with purple supports.
It was to perfect.
Then I looked at the floor. There was hardwood flooring but under my gaming desk sat a Minecraft rug that just made me beam. I felt like I was twelve again obsessed with a game that could pull me far away from my problems.

Knock knock

Jordan walked in.
"Enjoying your room?" I nodded."here I brought miles up."
In the past week Miles had grown Quite a bit. Starting to look like a cat.
I smiled and sat him down on the cat bed.
"Who moved all of this in?"
"Oh my Ex." She smiled at me and I felt my heart sink.
"I'm gonna go take a shower now. Feel free to explore this is your house to now."
She walked away and as the water turned I got up walking around the house.
One of the two bathrooms was in my room which I was fine with.
Two bedrooms were on the second floor as well as a nice little porch that over looked a wild strawberry field.
I smiled this house couldn't get any better.
I walked downstairs to find the second bathroom and the third bedroom. Along with a kitchen with an island and bar stools set up with it.
The living room was walk in so you could see the couch and huge tv from the stairs and kitchen. There was also a little Harry potter style closet under the stairs which I laughed at.
It had been about ten minutes of just exploring when I heard the water shut off and almost simultaneously the door bell go off.

Ding dong

I walked over to the door and someone was holding a box.
"Oh sorry is Jordan here? I'm Max."
"How does she know you?"
"I'm her Ex."
My face flushed a bit.
"She's busy I can take that from you." I said reaching out to grab it.
"Hold on I don't even know your name."
"You don't need to I'm her roommate."
He looked at me and smirked.
"Your hot when your angry."
"You ASSHOLE. She is my best friend. You hurt her god damn it. Give me the box and leave."
"Hey woah woah woah. Jesus calm down. I was kidding. She's my girlfriend not my ex and she didn't tell me she had a roommate."
My heart sank even further into my chest.
"What?" I whispered blushing a bit more.
"Aww you like her." He said "well listen here Missy. Your nothing not her. She never told me anything about you. She never even mentioned you in conversation. You have no chance with her. You don't even look attractive."
My heart sank even further down to my feet. Officially snapping away from all p the rest of my vital organs.
"Noone in their right mind would love someone like you."
Numb. That's all I felt.
"Hey Noelle who's at the door?"
"Your boyfriend" I growled going to the kitchen.
"MAX?! What the Hell are you doing here?"
She shut the door behind her but not before I hear Max say
"Babe I'm he-"
I couldn't deal with it I felt fucking numb. They were happy together and I was just an intruder.
I had nothing left to live for.
