Third person pov~

Dragons were calling in the distance from where Hiccup stood as Toothless walked up to him nudging his best friend's back with a little growl as he smiled up at him "what?" Hiccup asked his buddy while Toothless glanced at his metal leg "oh, all right. You do know it's not a chew toy, don't you?" Hiccup spoke as he balanced on his one leg while Toothless had his upper body to the ground excited "is this what you want? Oh, do you want this leg? Do you want my leg?" Hiccup grunts as he tosses his leg "go get it" Toothless flying down for it. The said young chief sat on the ground pulling out his makeshift map when his metal leg falls next to him, looking up to see Toothless above him gliding on the air "getting pretty good at gliding on your own, bud" Toothless glides to the side the leg fell and goes on the ground nudging his leg

Stormfly flew up to them with a squawk as Astrid showed herself when they looked at them "oh, so this is where you come to get away from Gobber" she spoke as her dragon lands on the ground behind them

"I have no idea what you're talking about"

Toothless grabs Hiccups metal leg and puts it in Astrid's hands and immediately felt the slobber from it "ugh" quickly tossing it to the side catching both dragon's attention as they chase it while she wipes her hands on Hiccups shoulders "well, he's right, you know"

"R-really?" obviously shocked she agreed with him "you think you and I should...?"

"Oh, gods, no. we're nowhere near ready for that" she spoke as she balanced herself on the ledge of the cliff they were on

"No, that's-that's crazy"

"I mean, he's right about all of this" Astrid spoke directing her arms at all the dragons flying around Berk then sitting down next to him

Hiccup sighs at that "it does seem like the whole world knows about us now"

"Yep. And the more dragons we bring back here, the bigger of a target we become" Hiccup's metal leg falls on her lap as she looks at it in disgust "ugh" tossing it to her right "I just wish there was some way to make them leave us alone" Toothless figure flying by them after the leg

"There might be" she looked at her boyfriend confused, so he continued "dad used to talk about an old mariners' myth, of a secret land at the edge of the world where dragons live totally out of reach"

Astrid chuckled "well, sailors are known for tall tales"

"True. But what if it's real? It could be the answer to all of our problems"

"How? By moving the dragons there?" she questioned

"Uh-uh. All of us"

"Seriously? And abandon our home of seven generations? The home your father left you to protect?"

Hiccup sighs at her words "uh..." was his only answer

"Yeah, i think we need a real solution, Hiccup" Stormfly's squawks made them look at the two dragons as Toothless chewed on his buddy's leg and growled at Stormfly when she got close

"Well, we could just take Gobber's advice and tie the knot. That should fix everything. But, hey, if you're having doubts of yours truly, i'm pretty sure Snotlout's available"

"He only has eyes for your mom"

Hiccup gasps and groans at her comeback "playing dirty now, huh?" gently punching her arm

She chuckles at that "you asked for it. Looks like there might be a wedding after all"

He leans forward and pulled her in his arms "oh, how dare you? That is a low blow" she tries getting away but he catches her "no, no, you are not getting away" the two laugh as she grabs his finger pulling it backwards making him groan in pain "okay, okay, you win, you win! You always win"

She leans into his chest "you knew what you were getting into"

"Uh-huh. Right" Hiccup retorts back. That's when Toothless heard a dragon call in the distance. Going to the edge of the cliff before stopping as he kept hearing it. Adjusting himself before jumping off the edge and gliding down "uh, bud?" Hiccup spoke watching Toothless make his way down "what-- yeah, sure, don't bother to wait for us"

The Night Fury made his way through the forest listening to the dragon's call as he sniffed the air. Getting past the tall grass to see something he wasn't expecting in a long time. It was pure black just like him, Toothless walking towards the dragon slowly to not scare them

Your pov~

purred softly from the drowsiness of the thing they gave me and then started cooing softly after, adjusting my weight and moving my wings slowly away from my eyes while the Night Fury watched closely. When he saw my eyes he grunted softly. Shocked to see another like him. Slowly making his way forward some more

Me on the other hand roared at him, startling him as he jumped back. You stare at the spot growling and hissing at it in warning as he sniffed the spot. Making his way around it while getting closer. The grass tickled my nose as I sneezed, shaking my head with a shudder. Backing away still in shock "you're another Night Fury" my eyes darting from him and the grass

"I thought I was the only one" the male Night Fury spoke

Grunting softly as I looked at the grass then back at him. The two of us staring at each other's eyes cooing at him gently "I thought I was as well" a twig snapping in the distance caught my attention. Jumping up and blasting into the forest above him. Giving a growl, walking to the left side looking behind him as he did as well with his ears up. Seeing the humans I growl some more, my back arching in a threatening way. The male dragon just staring at them as I shoot another blast at the male human as the female throws herself at him pulling him from the blast. The male dragon growls as I get on my hind legs, occasionally looking back at them. Looking at him stunned

"Yeah, yeah, w-we're friends. No need to kill us" the young man spoke trying to get close

The male Night Fury walked close as I backed away with a growl spreading my wings and flying away from the two humans and other Night Fury in fear, hearing the Night Fury call behind me but didn't seem to follow me when I reached the air sending a blast in front of me. Flying into it as I disappeared
