The Best Year!

Chapter 5

When I got home I saw Jo outside his house like he was waiting for someone... I wander who he could be waiting for? I went inside and up my stuff on my bed. When I looked out my window he was still there so I decided I was going to go talk to him. I went over to his house.

"So what are you doing?" I asked Jo

"Just thinking." He said turning to look at me

"What about?" I asked with a smile

"Nothing... but hey do you want to go to the park?" Jo asked changing the subject

"Ya I guess I could go?" I said almost asking not answering

We walked down to the park and I thought about my dream... It was really weird thinking about it Just then Jo said,"Come on." breaking my thoughts I started walking with him.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we started walking closer and closer to the woods.

"Into the woods like we did when we were kids." Jo said matter-of-fact like or like I should have known.

I stopped walking,"NO." I knew I had to look scared and Jo looked at me like I was crazy after a conerned look flashed through his eyes.

"Why not Rose?" Jo asked stepping close to me... I had to look up to see his eyes and my breath cot when I saw them and how conerned he did look... I thought about it and realized it was just a dream, I can go into the woods. I took a deep breath and said,"All right let's go." Jo kind looked at me weird before he took my hand and started walking again. We went into the woods and there was no picnic this time. I let out a smell sigh of relief that I didn't even know I was holding in. When I did that Jo turned to me and said,"See there is nothing to be afriad of Rose?" it almost came out like  a question.

I looked at his like he was crazy and said,"I'm not afraid of the woods."

He looked shocked at my coment,"Then why didn't you want to come into the woods?" he asked comfused at my previse break down.

I didn't really know how to explain it to him and I didn't want to bring up my dream so I did the best I could," Because of this......" right then I kissed him. My arms found there way around his back and my hands where in his hair. I could feel him pull me close to him as his arm rapped around my waist. I felt his tongue trace my bottom lip asking for access which I happy allowed him. I pulled his face closer to mine if that was even possible, he pushed me up against a tree and push into my body. I dont think we could get any closer even if we tried. Then my phone started going off in my pocket. I pulled away as he pulled it out of my back pocket for me. He handed it to me smilling and said,"Again with the pulling away." He didn't step back and I didn't want him to. I looked down to see Sara calling me. I answered the phone and Jo started kissing down my neck. I tried to pay attention to what Sara was saying. I leaned my head back so Jo would have better access. Sara wanted to tell me she was having a sleepover this weekend and I told her I would be there. Before she hung up she asked me were I was. I told her I went for a walk and I'm I the park. Jo stopped kissing my neck when he heared me say bye. He looked up at me and said,"Ok now back to where we were."

"No now we've got to leave... Sorry." I said kissing him once more so could push him away.

When I pulled away Jo said,"Hey that's not right you can't do that to me... First you get me all started then tell me no more then you kiss me just to get away.... This is so unfair."

We started walking back and didn't really talk after that. That's when I realized we don't talk much about us and were this hole thing is going. Every time we try to something happens and we just forget about it. The next two days of school were the same way. We never talked about what happened in the park or woods. We really didn't talk at all. It just made me even happier when the weekend came around. It was also time for Sara's sleepover. I planned to tell them everything tonight. When we got to Sara's house that night we all changed into are pajamas. After we all settled down on the floor in a circle I started telling them everything.

"So I have to tell you all something and it can't leave this room." I threatened them.

"What is it?" Sara asked exited... she loved knowing things other people couldn't

"OK you all know Jo and I kissed two times." I stated

"Ya!" They all pretty much shouted.

I could feel a blush coming as I said,"Well we have now made out two times too." They all freaked out... All I could hear was What? When? Was it good? No way! Rose! After they calmed down some Hannah asked,"When?"

"Well the first time was the night of the party and the second time was Wednesday at the park."

Sara said,"Wait Wednesday when I called you... You weren't making out when I was talking to you were you because you seemed spaced out?"

"Ya you kinda stopped us and he was kissing my neck the whole time." I blurted out as fast as I could felling my face light up.

They all yelled,"O my gosh." "No way."

"Wait... Why are you just know telling us?" Naevah asked

"Well I didn't know were Jo and I stand but I knew I had to tell you guys so.... ya."

All Emma could say way,"O my gosh." over and over.

I also ended up telling them about my dream with him in it. We stayed up half the night talking. They asked me every question they could think of and I would answer they best I could. Considering some of there questions were like 'How many kids do you think you will have.' or 'When will you start dating and when will you get married.' We did this for the longest time, then we all finely went to sleep.
