The Best Year!

Chapter 6

It's Monday morning and I haven't talk to Jo all weekend. I'm a little confused about were we stand. After everything that as happened I still don't even know if I want to go out with him. I feel like we are taking thing to far. I just want everything cleared up before something else happens. We're not even dating and we already made-out two times. I mean at the beginning of the school year he was just an annoying family friend that I didn't have any feelings for and now I don't know what he is to me... I don't even know how I feel about him. I don't even know what I want us to be if I even want us to be anything. I mean I don't think we can go back to being friends that easy. When I first saw him today day my heart stopped. I don't know what to think anymore. We are in science class and the first ones here so we're all alone. When he walked in he just walked up and kissed me. I didn't even have time to think... I could feel my arm start to go up around his neck but he pulled away before my arms could rap around his neck completely. When he pulled away I opened my eyes to see him walking away. He acted like nothing happened and I couldn't stop replaying every time we kissed over in my head. That was the first time we kissed in class even if no one was in the class at the time. It reminded me of the first time we kissed in the gym. The rest of my classes went in a blur until launch time. He wasn't there so I went looking for him. He was playing basketball in the gym again.

"So what was that in science class?" I asked him

"You act like we've never done it before." He shrugged it off.

"We haven't in school like that." I said pointing towards the classrooms direction.

He stopped shouting and turned to look at me,"I remember kissing you right there on the bleachers actually." he said smirking.

I was shocked... probably wide eyed staring at him when I said,"You actually remembered!"

"Ya, Rose I'm not always a conceded jerk." he said matter-of-fact like.

I walked over to him and kissed him on the check. This time I started to walk away when he said,"Hey what was that for?"

I turned head and said,"For not being a conceded jerk all the time." winking at him, now facing him. Jo walked over, picked me up from the wast and kissed me again. I had my arms around his neck when he pulled away and just looked at me. I smiled at him then asked,"OK can you put me down now?"

Jo rolled his eyes as he put me down slowly,"You always stop the fun times don't you?"

"You mean the kissing? Ya I do stop the stupid things we do."

Jo kept walking closer and closer to me. He backed me up against the wall while saying,"You know you love it." He leaned in closer as his hands trailed down my sides. He was so close I could feel him breathing on my lips... If I just moved up half an inch are lips would touch. He just staid like that with his hands on my hips and so close we were almost touching. I ran my hands up his back and could feel him shiver. Just as my hands reached his hair he pulled me closer crashing are lips together. His arms were rapped around my waist and his whole body was pushing me up against the wall. After everything fully hit me I pushed him away.

"Sorry but I always stop the fun times." I said smirking and walking away.

Jo ran over to me pulling me back to him by the waisted and asked,"So were do we stand?"

"I don't know but I would like to." I said honestly.

Just then Sara walks in and Jo dropped his hands. We started acting like we were playing basketball. Sara either didn't see it or acted like she did when she asks,"So what are you two up to?"

"Just playing some basketball." I told her smiling after I hit Jo with the ball.

"Well I thought you would like to know they are putting out track sigh up sheets."

Before anyone could say anything else Jo and I ran out of the gym and in to the hall so we could sign up. I love track and this year I got Ashley to sign up with me. Ashley ran her 6th grade and 7th grade years but not her 8th grade year. I never did find out why but she acted like she didn't want to talk about it. When we got to the sheets Jo and I were the first to sign up and I added Ashley's name.
