The Best Year!

Chapter 17

Summer has started and it's two days until we go to the beach. My mom is running around everywhere trying to get everything packed and done. Jo's mom is the same way so we can just hang out without them acting like we're little kids and need them with us 24/7. It's like they don't trust us sometimes but I know they do because we would never do anything wrong and have never done anything wrong. I think they just want to make sure we don't brake up and that's not going to happen. We couldn't be any happier.  He's the first guy I actually said I love you too and the some for him, I'm the first girl he ever told them that he loved. Even if we weren't the first, we would be the only ones that when we said it we meant it. He was technically my first kiss to. In fifth grade we kissed because Sara dared us to. That was the first kiss for both of us. One day I was thinking about how we have only told each other I love you, well besides are family members. So when we were hanging out I asked Jo,"Hey I was thinking why did you never told any other girl you loved them?"

Jo looked at me and said the sweets thing. "Ever sense are first kiss in fifth grade, even thou is was a dare, I know that I loved you. Every other girl just couldn't match up to you and beside I wouldn't date a girl longanuff to tell them."

I wanted to say something sweet back but I didn't have anything to say and I think Jo could tell because he just leaned over and kissed me. He did the sweetest things for me in those two days. We would walk to the park and he would picked me a flower or he would just say the sweetest things like how I'm the only girl for him. I really got lucky with him. I use to not stand him but I found out he is the best boyfriend ever. The two days went by faster then what I wanted them to. The next morning I had to get up early to head off for the beach. We are taking four cars. My parents, Jo's parents, Sara's parents, and Tyler are all going to have a car. In my parents will be my brother and them. In Jo's parents car will be Jo and Ryan with them. In Sara's parents was going to be all of use girls but we went to Tyler's car with Matt. I just wanted to see Tyler pick on Matt. Then at the last second Hannah decided to go in Jo's parents car so she could be with Ryan. That left Jo and I apart or in my parents car or Sara's parents car. I thought it would be less painful if we just staid in different cars and texted, plus we would see each other every time we stopped. I know that my parents or Sara's parents would say something to us so it was easier to stay apart. When I woke up I got ready fast so I could see Jo before we split for an 8 hour drive. After I was ready and looked pretty cute I went outside to put my stuff in the car. I was hoping Jo would be outside doing the same or waiting for me. He was as soon as I stepped outside he grabbed my bag and then my hand. He had my bag in he right hand and my hand in he's left. He was so sweet like that.

I couldn't help but smile and ask,"How long have you been waiting?"

"Not long. I know you would want to see me before we left and I had to see you."

We reached the back of the car and he pulled me close to him. He had his arms wrapped around my wast and was just staring into my eyes. I didn't want to stop looking into his eyes but I wanted to kiss him so bad. I could tell he felt the same way as we slowly moved are heads closer until we couldn't help but brake the stare. We started kissing and I didn't think we would ever stop, well until I hard Sara behind us. I started to pull away but I felt Jo just push back. It was like he didn't care if everyone saw and at there moment I didn't care either. We still pulled away just not right away. We usually try to respect the fact that people don't want to see us (even if it was just kissing) but right then we didn't care. Sara just rolled her eyes at us and Jo put my bag in the car. Scene Sara was hanging out with us now Jo and stopped kissing but he still held onto me, like he always does. He usually stands behind me with his arms around me, but today he just had one arm across my back at the wast line and his hand rested on my hip. It was still sweet and we stayed like this until everyone was getting into the cars and we had to part. When we did part I kissed him on the check and when in go into Tyler's jeep. Jo grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
