Chapter 2

Throw the rest of the week Jo didn't say anything to me about the kiss and we really didn't talk much in our classes either. It was like he regretted it or he though he roughened are friendship. The truth is I don't care about the kiss... I can't get it out of my head but I was shocked, I'm still kinda shocked. That's not roughing are friendship... he is by not talking to me. Well he talks some like if he sees me he will ask how my leg is doing and then he will just walk away.... I learned he is really good at walking away. Then I saw him outside on day after school so I went over to his house. He started to walk away, I have to stop him so I yell,"Jo get back here!"

"What do you want Rose?" he almost sounded mad or upset when he said this.

"I want to know why you don't talk to me anymore?"

"Really Rose I think you can figure that one out." Jo almost sounded sarcasticwhen he said that... like his old self. I had to roll my eyes at that, even with a small smile starting. I wiped the smile off my face fast because I needed to be serious.

"I want you to tell my why." I need to know if he regreted the kiss.

"Rose you know it's because of that.. well that... night." He started scraching the back of his neck and looked down at the ground when he was trying to tell me.

"You mean because of that stupid kiss?" as soon as I said that his head and eyes shot up to look at me. Maybe he did care?

"Hey it wasn't that stupid. I mean I know you went over to Sara's house after instead of you house first." he knew? so he did end up looking back them?

"I was in shock. I mean why did you even do it?" I couldn't help but ask... I had to know

"I don't know." he sounded upset again.

"No smart remark?" I asked sarcastically with a small smile

"No." he still sounded gruppy

I looked him over slowly while I said,"Wow your not yourself anymore."

"Whatever." again a sort gruppy answer

I can't take it anymore so I say,"Hey let's just forget about the kiss. We can still hangout right?" with a smile as I wait for him answer.

"I though it was a stupid kiss?" he said sarcastically while faking shocked.

"Know your back, so is it a deal?"

"Ok Rose it's a deal." he said with a wink

I walked away this time and the next week at school went back to normal. We joked with each other, made fun of each other and he started sitting by me again. It went on like that until Friday went Hannah though she would bring up the kiss again. Hannah asked,"So are you two togethernow that you've kissed?" Matt and Ryan both were shocked at the news of the kiss and Jo just got up and left. I was so mad because everything was going back to normal, I yelled at her,"Hannah why would you even ask that?"

"Well because your hanging out with him again and I just thought..." I cut her off before she could even finish.

"Well don't think." I snapped

Sara then cut in,"Rose she just asked a question."

"Ya well you don't understand." I said as I stood up.

Matt then asked,"So you and Jo kissed?"

all three of us girls yelled ,"YES!" at him

"Ok I was just asking." Matt said in a poutty voice

I turned back to Sara and Hannah,"I'll talk to you later." with that I left and went looking for Jo. I ended up finding him in the gym. He was shooting basketball. As I walked in I said,"Hey im sorry about Hannah."
