Chapter 8: Levy? Gray?

*NEXT DAY*

Levy P.O.V

It was another day of team practice and of course, Natsu and Lucy were the main team.

"So, have you decided on where you stand?" I asked Lucy while taking a shower.

Lucy answered, "Yeah, I really do love Natsu..."

I smiled happily. "Finally, It's about time you realize you like him!"

Then Lucy quietly commented," I was thinking of confessing. But I don't know how. Where should I tell him? When should I tell him?"

I rolled my eyes and said strictly, "Lucy! You let the man do the confessing!"

She sighed, "It's Natsu were talking about...."

"Oh yeah...no you have to tell him."

We took off our shoes and got dressed. While getting dressed, I of course finished before Lucy and I said, "I'm going to leave now. Remember, I always have books that might be able to help you."

"Thanks Levy. You're the best."

I smiled and left.

As I was walking out, I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

Am I jealous because Lucy keeps getting everything? Or is that fact that I may also have feelings for--no! That's impossible! He's so not my type...

I went to my reading spot and instead of reading; I decide to practice my solid script magic again. I don't want to be left behind and useless.

While practicing, I got too close to the edge of the hill and I fell. "Help!" I screamed. No one came. So I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. When I opened my eyes, I was saved. I looked up to see my savior. It was Natsu. My cheeks burned red.

We landed on the ground and he asked, "Are you alright?"

I nodded and he smiled brightly at me, "Cool, I'm going to go now."

As I saw him leave, I couldn't help but fall for my knight in shining armor.

I guess I really do love Natsu too...

Gray P.O.V

While in the lunch line, I noticed Natsu wasn't with Lucy. Lucy was sitting at the table by herself and with a baby. I walked over to her and teased, "So, your husband left you." Her face went a light shade of pink. I thought it was cute.

"Natsu's late. That's all..." She said while looking at her tray.

"I might not be your precious Natsu, but can I eat here?" I asked.

She nodded.

"So I heard you got this crazy parenting project."

"Yeah, it's kinda frustrating in a way," she said.

I looked at the baby and asked, "What's his... or her name?"

"Oh, this is Yugi. I got him yesterday. He's a good boy... but not really yesterday..."

"What happened yesterday?" I asked.

She made this ugly face and she put up her hands in front of her (Like in the picture) and yelled, "Don't ask about yesterday!"

I couldn't help but laugh.

"What? What did I do?" asked Lucy really confused.

I wiped a tear from my eye and said, "Lucy, you're a special person!"

She pouted and asked, "Is that a bad thing or good thing?"

I smiled at her softly and answered, "It's a good thing. A really good thing." I stood up and left.

Lucy's P.O.V

I smiled as I saw Gray walk away. He's a real nice person when you get to know him.

I stood up and threw my tray away. Then the baby started to cry. I carried Yugi to the bathroom to see if it was another pee problem. I looked and the diaper was dry.

I walked to my teacher's classroom and opened the door with a sigh. "Mr, I think Yugi's broken."

The teacher turned to face me and asked,"Did you take him to the bathroom?"

"Yes"

"Did you feed him?"

My eyes widened, "Feed? You have to feed the baby?"

He looked at me with a face that said, are you seriously that stupid?

I asked, "Do you have baby food with you?"

He sighed and took a can of baby food from his desk. "Good thing I kept this in my desk for emergencies." I bowed and said thank you as I left.

I went outside and sat under a tree with Yugi. As I feed him, Levy came from behind the tree.

"Levy? What are you doing here?"

"Me?! Oh uh, nothing, just a little bit of reading."

I lifted my eyebrow and asked, "Levy? Are you okay?"

She shook her head and said, "I'm sorry Lucy but, I'm..."

Natsu P.O.V

As I walked back from saving Levy, I went to the cafeteria to meet up with Lucy and Yugi. As I was walking, I bumped into Gray. "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING ICE PRINCESS!!"

"ME?! YOU SHOULD WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING FLAME BRAIN!!" We glared at each other and then Gray stopped.

His expression became serious, "Hey Natsu, I've got something to say."

I lifted my eyebrow and questioned, "What do you need to say?"

"Natsu, I can't believe it, and I don't want to..."

He started to scratch his head and he continues," Natsu, it's about Lucy. I'm kind of..."

Lucy P.O.V

My eyes widened and I started to feel tears start to form. I couldn't believe what I just heard. Levy, I thought we were friends.

"I don't understand...I thought you were supporting me?"

Levy looked at the floor and said, "I was, but then something happened and I just kinda fell for him."

"Levy, I told you I love him! I also said I was going to confess too!"

Levy started to tear up and yelled, "I know, I know! That's why I said, I'm sorry Lu-chan, but I'm in love with Natsu!"

I grabbed Yugi and I turned to Levy and said, "Don't you ever talk to me!"

Natsu P.O.V

"Gray...What the hell? I thought you said you didn't like her?"

"I didn't, it just sorta happened. It's not like you like her anyway." He walked by me, pat my shoulder, and whispered in my ear: "You should have made your move years ago."

As he walked away, I regretted not telling her a long time ago. I should have taken the chance to tell her. I should have told her...
