Avani's Pov:

This is bad. This is really bad.

The cab came to a hault and I got out, taking my suitcase with me before giving Louis a wave.

"Good luck, madam" he smiled and nodded at me before driving away.

I was now standing in front of the University I was going to be in and I couldn't help but feel a bit anxious. I rubbed my sweaty palms on my jeans before taking a hold of my suitcase and started making my way towards the reception. I looked around the beautiful campus before muttering "Maybe this won't be that bad."

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a deep voice coming from behind me. "You know talking to yourself is considered crazy, new girl" He said. Um asshole much? I thought to myself before turning around.

There he was, the stranger with the most intense grey eyes I've ever seen. He was leaning on the wall beside him with a cigarette in one hand and an infuriating smirk on his lips. I checked him out discreetly so he wouldn't get cockier than what I assume he already is.

"Remember when I asked for your opinion? Yeah, me neither." I replied raising my eyebrow at him.

He gave me a small laugh before dropping his cigarette on the ground and stomping on it with his left foot. He started walking towards me before leaning in and invading my personal space.

"Feisty, I like it." he whispered in my ear causing goosebumps to erupt on my neck. I ignored the weird feeling, wanting to stop this before it got any more intense.

"Ever heard of personal space sir?" I asked before shoving him slightly. He just continued smirking at me before leaning back onto the wall and checking me out.

Just as I was about to say something, he winked at me and turned around, walking back in the direction from where ever he came before.

I shook my head before turning around, trying to forget what just happened.

I finally got into the main building and went to the front desk, which let me tell you, took forever. "Avani" I said. She looked up at me knowing I was a new student who came to her for the schedule and dorm settings. "What's the last name, miss Avani?" She asked, giving me a polite smile. "It's just Avani." I said, shrugging the uncanny feeling away.

After my parents died I decided not to take on their surname because it always reminded me about how my parents weren't there anymore everytime someone said my full name.

"Ok just avani, here is everything you will need." She said with a smile after a while, giving me all the details. "Thanks." I told her before turning around and walking towards where my dorm was supposed to be.

205. That's my dorm number. I walked towards the elevator with my suitcase behind me. Just when the elevator was about to close I heard someone yell,"Wait for me!"

I put my foot in between the closing doors, making it open again revealing the most clumsy looking girl I've ever seen. She had 3 suitcases which were probably too big for her to handle. Her wavy brown hair a mess, and yet she looked flawless. She was wearing a bright neon pink bomber jacket with black leather crop top beneath, paired with light blue wash jeans.

She got in frantically before the elevator closed again then looked towards me with a big smile. "Hi! Thanks for waiting by the way." She said before face palming herself. "I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Bethany." She said putting her hand forward for me to shake. "Call me Beth please. Like seriously Bethany sounds so old school. Sometimes I still argue with my mom as to why she named me Bethany, why couldn't it be something cool like Olivia or Emma. Oh god sorry I'm rambling again, aren't I? You are?" She asked my name after cringing at her own antics.

I laughed slightly before shaking her hand, "Avani!" I answered right before the door opened.

We both tried to get out at the same time before getting stuck and looking at each other laughing again. "You first, please!" I said giving her a small bow.

"Thank you, miss." she said in a small fake British accent because obviously she was American.

We were walking in the same direction when she asked me; "What's your dorm number?"

"Um it's-

Before I could answer we both stopped in front of the same room.

"205!"

"205?"

I answered and she asked at the same time. She gave me a big grin before yelling "ROMMIES!"

I laughed again shaking my head before saying "yay," with fake enthusiasm. She slightly shoved me before placing her hand over her heart pretending to be hurt.

We laughed and opened the room, walking in. The room was of an average size. Not too big not too small. Just perfect.

It had two single beds on the opposite sides of room and two study table beside it.

It looks too plain. Its going to need alot of work. I thought to myself and sighed. We both made our way towards one side, marking our territory. Beth immediately put all her bags to one side and opened a box she was holding. I decided to take a nap since I felt really exhausted.

"Aren't you going to decorate it?" She asked while I closed my eyes.

"Eh, no I'm way too jetlagged. I'm going to take a nap." I said, yawning since I only got 2 hours of sleep on the 9 hour flight.

"Okay ma'am. Nighty night" she said. That's the last thing I heard her saying before I drifted off into a deep slumber.
