Alien Ship Destroyed!

Cory Cain, colloquially known as "the Chosen One," appears to be able to use his newfound invulnerability to alien attacks to his advantage. The lasers, whipping out entire city blocks, have no effect on this hero.
Armed with new weapons, including lasers to match those of the spaceships, Mr. Cain was able to destroy one of the large ships over Asia, sending it crashing into farmland in Southeast Asia. Damage is still being assessed.
This vanquishing of such a huge alien weapon bodes well for the future of this war. The world depends on Mr. Cain being able to repeat this feat.
