Say It: An IM5 Fanfic: Dalton Rapattoni

Chapter 1

"Calm down, Brianna. It's not going to be you. Don't get your hopes up." I mutter to myself as I log onto twitter. Hi. I'm Brianna, a 16 year old girl who lives in a basically dead town in Wisconsin. I'm a YouTube singer, waiting to be discovered. My chance came about a week ago, when my favorite band, IM5, announced a singing competition to sing a duet with them. Well, go on tour with them because they need someone to sing can't stay away with them, because Bella's going to be busy. Plus, they need an opening act.

Anywho, I log onto my twitter to get onto the ustream where they're going to announce the winner. After a couple minutes of waiting, the faces of IM5 pop up on my screen.

"STOP IT." I hear dalton yell as soon as the image and sound start working. At first, I'm confused, But then I see Dana starting to twerk in the corner. I giggle, knowing my best friend Taylor would be laughing if she was watching. Taylor loves Dana. I for one, like cole. Well, I like all of them, but i needed to pick a favorite, and cole was it.

As I watch the guys talk and laugh for a little bit, I can't stop freaking out. They're announcing the winner any minute now!

"So, I bet you're all wondering who won the chance to open for us on tour this summer." Gabe says lookin at something behind the camera, probably eben telling him to announce the winner.

"Well, you can't know. Bye." Dalton says, clicking a button, making the screen go black. Less than 10 seconds later, their faces show up again. "JUST KIDDING. Her name is Brianna." He says, looking at the camera.

Holy mother of all fucks.

"Brianna West to be exact." Will adds.

OH. MY. GOD.

I was picked. I won. I'm going on tour with IM5.

"MOM. MOM!" I scream, running into the living room.

"What, Brianna?" My mom asks, looking at me with an irritated expression.

"I WON. I GET TO GO ON TOUR WITH IM5. THEY PICKED ME!" I scream, starting to cry.

My mom stands up and gives me a huge hug. "Brianna, that's amazing! Great job!!!"

We spend a couple minutes freaking out, but then I realize that I never figured out what happened now that I won. I mean, obviously, I get to go on tour with them, but how and when do I meet them, when are rehearsals, nothing.

I run back to my room and start listening again.

"We'll, Brianna, were going to call you on Skype as soon as you get on and add us... Then, we'll work out schedules and whatnot." Will says.

"Yeah, we gotta go... Brianna get online!" Cole says, smiling.

"Bye everyone!" Dana says, waving quickly at the camera before Gabe presses the button to end the livestream.

I log quickly onto my Skype account and accept the one request I have. It's from Dalton's account.

After waiting for about a minute, I get a call.

I click answer with video, and sure enough, there's dalton rapattoni looking back at me.

"Hi there." He says after waiting a couple seconds for me to react.

"Hi..." I say shyly, smiling at him.

"We're you crying?" He asks, and I realize my make up is all weird because I was crying.

"Shit... Hold on." I say, running to the mirror on my desk. I quickly fix my makeup an run back to my laptop. "I was... I got a little overwhelmed that I was picked." I say, smiling slightly.
