♧12-THE WORST NIGHTMARE (i)♧

THIRD PERSON

When Ruhi gained her consciousness back, she found herself in her bedroom, surrounded by Krrish, Karan, Ritika and the middle aged man wearing a white shirt. Everyone held concern filled expression on their faces. Seeing the stethoscope hanging around the man's neck,she assumed that he was the doctor probably. Ritika held her shoulders as she helped her to sit up carefully.

"Mrs.Chauhan , I am.going to ask you some questions and you have to answer me." The doctor stated seriously. Ruhi nodded her head in approval.

"Are you in your dates?"

"No" She shook her head in denial.

"Have you felt morning sickness or vomiting those days ?"

"Yeah recently, I have felt nauseous for the last few days. I don't know why it is happening. I guess, it's kind of food poisoning." She answered.

A long silence prevailed the room as the doctor firstly stared at Ruhi with serious face and looked at Krrish who was looking extremely tensed about Ruhi's sudden sickness. Then he looked back at Ruhi again.

"Congratulations Mr and Mrs Chauhan, you are going to be parents." He finally stated with a small smile.

"Whatt!" Krrish yelled in utter shock as he couldn't believe what he had just spelled out.

"Yes Mr Chauhan ,Mrs Chauhan is pregnant."

Krrish stood there rooted on his spot while Ruhi was speechless. She was too stunned to speak anything.Here Ritika and Karan were just overjoyed to listen the good news. Karan immediately hugged Krrish in happiness.

"Congratulations Krrish. Thanks for bringing the happiness back in our house. I and Ritika couldn't do it but you both have done it. Thanks a lot bro. Thanks a lot for accepting Ruhi as your wife and thanks for giving yourself and all of us this wonderful surprise." He exclaimed with overly excited grin.

"Hmm" Krrish only hummed in response, still in utter shock to react anything.Ritika also caressed Ruhi's hairs and smiled wholeheartedly.

"Thank you so much ,Ruhi for giving us this wonderful news. This is one of the greatest things that has happened in our life. I am so happy for both of you." With that, she placed a kiss on Ruhi's forhead.

Ruhi was still expressionless as it was unbelievable for her. She had never expected such things. Yeah, she had been intimate with Krrish before but as per as she knew that they had never gotten that physical which would land them in this situation. How could it possible? How could she be pregame?

After the doctor along with Karan and Ritika left , Krrish who had been utterly sileny, took baby steps towards Ruhi who was lost in her own thoughts. He sat beside her slowly and looked at her carefully. Ruhi who was still trying figure out if it was happening for real or everything was just disillusionment. These types of news were supposed to be means of positivity and happiness but for them, it was rather shocking and totally unexpected. She looked up to meet his eyes which were gazing at her with a hint of guilt and sadness.
